'Featured Image' function not available

Hi,
When I’m adding new events the ‘Featured Image’ function is not displaying on the right hand side. It displays for all other parts of my website, just not for the event calendar.
I am using the Gonzo WordPress theme (http://themeforest.net/item/gonzo-clean-responsive-wp-magazine/2415788)
I’m very much a beginner in WordPress and HTML so if you could give me a step by step of exactly the steps I need to take to change this it would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Thanks for using out plugins. I can try to help out, but we do not have your theme and unable to solve theme compatibility issues for the most part.

Having said that have you changed the settings on this page:

Events > Settings > Display tab

Then look for this field: “Events template”

Try the different options there and see if that setups the look of the calendar with the theme how you would like it.
