    Hi

    Sorry for the issues.

The Events Calendar Widget is not our plugin and we do not maintain it.

Please contact the developer here for help:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-widget/

If you have issues with our Event List Widget included with Pro we can help out.

    Thanks

    Hi,

The plugin is setup to sync events between WordPress and Eventbrite.

It is possible you could do what you are asking though.

You would want an Eventbrite account that manages the events and then another account (different username) in Eventbrite that you create the App to authorize your site with to import Events.

Then you could import events from Eventbrite and make changes in WordPress and since that account did not create the event in Eventbrite any changes you make in WordPress would not be pushed to Eventbrite.

It appears only the month view is not working so I would recommend switching to another view as the default view until this can be figured out.

I have not seen any other reports of this issue so I am not sure what the cause is yet.

Are you able to update the Events Calendar to 3.10 and also change themes and leave another theme up for us to check and see if that resolves this?

Also when you create test events can you create single events with times and see if that shows.

    Let me know.

    Hi,

Again I am not able to provide technical support on the Pre-Sales Forum. I would ask that you take any technical support questions across to our wordpress.org forum – our staff scan it periodically and other community members may also be able to help out.

    Hi Rinie,

Shall I provide you with credentials so you can take a look?

    I appreciate the offer!

However, our current policy is not to accept logins or to log in to customer servers/WordPress installations.

(btw; if I place that css and mo and po file in the template directory tribe just as the single-event.php, will that work? saves me a lot of work when the next update arrives :-))

Only the css file with work if it named tribe-events.css , unfortunately, not the mo and po file.

As for the Widget. I was still unable to reproduce the issue.

Can you please follow our testing for conflicts guide and see if that narrows down the source of this:

Let me know what you find out.

    Hi,

The filter system you are talking about is the Advanced Post Manager and we moved it to its own plugin. Was there not a message it had been removed and a link to download it?

Either way you can add them back by getting this plugin on WordPress.org:

    Hi,

The pin is set by a script, which does not have a method to change with a filter or hook.

You could remove our scripts and add your own.

This thread outlines the 4 scripts that create the maps:

How to change default gmap view to satellite – on events and venues

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thanks for using our plugins.

Not sure how Essential Grid works, but we have tribe_get_events()

    Using tribe_get_events

That is how we create our event queries you maybe able to try and work something with that.

Unfortunately, we do not have anything else for this, but I can try to answer some specific questions.

    Cheers

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.

I tried to visited your site and cannot access it.

Not sure of the cause of this, but could be some custom coding for the Events Calendar in Your Theme or some other conflict.

Can you check your error logs?

Let me know and we can go from here.

    Hi,

Thanks for using the Events Calendar.

Here on the pre-sales forum, I’m afraid we do not provide technical support. I would ask that you take any technical support questions across to our wordpress.org forum – our staff scan it periodically and other community members may also be able to help out.

    The Events Calendar

Our forums are public and you can read almost every thread. If a reply is marked private only we and the person creating the reply can see it.

    Here is the Pro Forum:

Also, it maybe a conflict causing this issue so before posting in WordPress.org I would take a look at our testing for conflicts guide and see what you find out:

    Thanks again!

    Hi Kim,

When you upgrade it gives you a one year license from the day you upgrade.

So the price is just the different from what you paid for the first license and how much the license cost that you are upgrading to.

$150 is the correct amount, but after you upgrade if the expire date does not update to one year from the date of upgrade please let us know and we can fix it.

    Thanks

I am glad to see you were able to fix this issue.

Since the issue is resolved I am going to go ahead and close this ticket. If you have a similar issue or another in the future, please do not hesitate to create a new ticket.

    Thanks!

Oh my bad I did mean “Display Tickets on the Event Page?” (I fixed that in my original message)

If you see that changing let us know without you changing it let us know or you continue to have this issue.

Also, this is a related but different issue: When I create the event in Eventbrite, I always click off “Show Remaining Tickets” to NO. But after I import the event to WordPress, it somehow changes back to displaying the remianing tickets, which I do NOT want.

Our organization created and imported nearly 30-40 public events the past two weeks, and it’s becoming pretty dicey to have event information show up inaccurately, and time consuming to go back and forth to try to correct these seemingly inadvertent changes for each of the events. Please help!

Sorry for these two issues. They are both issues we are working to solve that happen when updating the event in WordPress.

To avoid both of these until we can get a fix completed you may want to only make changes in Eventbrite and re-import events that have changed. I know that is not ideal and I may have an early release for you to test out soon if you like.

    Let me know.

Ok so I am going to close this ticket, but that does not mean the issue is being closed.

We have a ticket to address this issue in our system and I will push to get this in our maintenance release.

We will update this ticket once we have a release to address this.

If you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I can help out here.

Currently we just have the Business and Agency Plans.

We are working on a unlimited plan that might help out, but I do not have a timeline when it might be released or the cost for it.

For WooCommerce tickets the ticketing system is controlled on your site and the purchase of tickets is done through WooCommerce. For Eventbrite the ticket purchasing processing is done through Eventbrite and all information is managed there instead of your site. The WooCommerce Tickets system is a simplier system for tickets, while Eventbrite has many more features for event registration.

I would look at your New User Primer for WooCommerce Tickets as that shows what it can do:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-woocommerce-tickets/

We have one for eventbrite too:

    New User Primer: Eventbrite Tickets

I would also sign up for an eventbrite account as it is free and it shows you all the features they have in it and you can see what one is the best solution for you.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks
