ParticipantHi, haikdl. THat does sound frustrating.
I was just on your site and was able to add a ticket to my cart (http://d.pr/i/9NVh). Would you mind clearing your browser’s cache and trying again? Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantWell, that’s great to know. I’m sorry for you having to deal with switching servers, but nice work figuring it out!
Does that mean you’re all set here? π

ParticipantIf you post them in a private reply like the one you just posted, I can get them that way and immediately take them down. Would that work?

ParticipantHi, markappeal. Please take a deep breath. If we’re going to be able to resolve this, we need to work together.
I need to ask you to comport yourself in a professional manner or you will leave me no choice but to ask you to leave the forum. We are all here to help you, but we can only to that if you work with us.
Until you are able to work with us, there is nothing we can do to help. If you are unwilling to follow my troubleshooting advice, I have no recourse but to offer you a refund and ask you to stop posting altogether. Is that the path you would like to take?
We need you to follow the basic troubleshooting steps: 1) disable all other plugins and 2) revert to a default WP theme like Twenty Twelve. Then, assuming the issue resolves itself, one-by-one, enable plugins until you discover where the conflict lies. I also need for you to try code snippets when I give them to you rather than looking at other threads and deciding a priori whether they will work or not.
Please let me know how you would like to proceed.

By the way, if you have a minute or two, we will love it if you would write a few words for us here:

ParticipantHi, haikdl. That does sound odd.
Would you mind sending me a screenshot of the WooCommerce orders page so that I can see what’s going on with them? Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantI’m very glad to hear it, Kevin. Nice work figuring that out!
Thanks so much for letting us know!

ParticipantHi, comhlamh. I’m glad to hear that you were able to get the z-index issue resolved. Well done! π
Since the rest of your issues seem to involve the Facebook Events add-on functionality, your best bet is to start a new thread in that forum: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/events/facebook-importer/
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, ausagventures. I definitely understand your frustration. The problem is that our plugin is working, and your theme is working, but they’re not working perfectly together.
I’ve given you the tools you need to get this resolved on your own. If that’s beyond your comfort zone, I’m happy to suggest some folks that could help you. Unfortunately, going in and customizing your site for you is outside the scope of our support.
I hope what’s going on makes sense. This should be a really quick fix for an experienced freelancer.

ParticipantHi, markappeal. I really need you to stick to one issue at a time so that I can effectively troubleshoot each. I think I understand you are now bring up another issue. We need to stay on topic or I will never be able to resolve any of your issues.
For the slider, I need you to test the code I gave you. You are incorrect when you say that many people have reported it as not working. Please try it and let me know what happens.
Also, have we successfully resolved the issues that came from installing PRO? As that was the original issue, I want to make sure that we stay focused on that.
Thanks! π

ParticipantHi again, haikdl. Welcome to the community!
What you’re seeing is a function of WooCommerce where payment options that are not automatically authenticated as having been completed are set to pending until an admin marks them as complete.
You should be able to see the orders in the WooCommerce Orders list. There, you can move them to “completed” status. Once they have been marked “completed”, the emails you’re expecting will be sent.
Some user have found this extra step tedious. I know that some folks are using a third-party plugin to automatically mark orders completed. A search of the forums should yield you more information about that.
Hope that helps! π

ParticipantGreat question, haikdl! π
Have you had a chance to check out our Themer’s Guide, linked in the sidebar. That gives you a detailed rundown of all the files for doing overrides.
Please check it out and let me know how you get on. Thanks!
