Calendar tags overriding WP tags

Hello!

When we click on the tag cloud to view a tag page (show all tags) it only shows the tags of events, not of posts. So if there are 4 posts and 1 event which share the same tag, the tag page only lists the 1 event with that tag.

The tag cloud shows all the other tags but if we click on a tag that has no events, then nothing shows even though there are many posts which have that tag.

I’ve done all the deactivation stuff and switched to the default theme, but that didn’t help. The only way to fix it is deactivate events calendar.

Ideally, I’d like separate tag clouds for events and posts – is this possible?

Hi els76uk,

We are aware of some difficulties with tag archives in the current release: in the first instance can you try working around this by adding this snippet to your theme’s functions.php file (you can probably omit the opening <?php tag) and see if that helps?

I’m sure it’s possible, but it’s not something that’s baked in right now. You could either investigate setting this up as a customization or else make a feature request – thanks!
