MemberSome further improvements with regards to private event posts are coming in The Events Calendar 3.0. For the time being though I will close this thread.

MemberWe’ll leave this open for a few more days – however after that I’ll close this thread (it could be worth seeking help on a WooCommerce specific forum for this sort of question).

MemberWhy do I have categories to break down the events into, but nowhere for my users to click on a specific event category listing and see all events in that category? Is that a link that I have to create and add myself?
The categories for a particular event are shown by default on each single event post – visitors can then click and visit the corresponding archive page as they would with regular WordPress posts.
You can also build a custom menu of event categories from the Appearance > Menus admin screen – just be sure to select Event Categories from the screen options dropdown on that same screen.

MemberThat’s a good point (re typical users and size of operation) and we appreciate you taking the time to post.
Barry
MemberCertainly, we’re happy to point in the right direction – but we do prefer not to manually change code on customer websites unless absolutely essential.
Thanks!

MemberHi Mike,
Thanks for reporting this. I’m not sure why you are experiencing it – it isn’t something I can replicate.
If I make the end time 7pm tonight, and test at 7.20pm, the ticket form for that ticket will not display, if I adjust it to 7.30pm it does – so it seems to work with expected accuracy at this end.

MemberIt is indeed a known issue that will be addressed in the next release – in the interim I’m afraid there aren’t any workarounds that I am aware of.
