MemberHi Chris,
The start/end dates should default to today’s dates and that’s what I see on our test installations, I’m not sure why you’d see anything other than that unless perhaps there is a conflict at work somewhere along the line.
If that’s the case definitely try our normal troubleshooting steps (remember to switch to a default theme, in addition to deactivating other plugins) in the first instance and if that doesn’t help to isolate the problem definitely let us know.
Thanks!

MemberNo problem – we’ll get that fix released as soon as possible 🙂

MemberHi everyone,
Sorry for the inconvenience first of all: we’re aware of this and it should be addressed in an upcoming maintenance release.
In the interim if you could try adding this snippet to your theme’s functions.php file that may tide you over until the official fix arrives.
Hope that helps!

MemberHi everyone, we do have some work underway to try and improve performance in a number of different scenarios – we should start to see the fruits of the work over the course of the next few maintenance releases.
In the meantime please accept our apologies for any inconvenience; it may be worth considering caching strategies or, if possible, temporarily boosting server resources to accommodate the situation in the meantime.
Thanks for your continued patience and support!

MemberHi Caroline – I’m going to move this across to our Eventbrite Tickets forum where our resident Eventbrite expert can assist you – thanks for your patience so far!

MemberTo clarify: the actual filter you may have in place (if this is indeed the problem) may be different, but clearing any that are in place by hitting the x and/or Clear button then saving the change may help here.

MemberHi Fred,
I think Greggsky may mean that within his theme’s header.php file he replaced the use of wp_title() with the_title() … the exact steps will very likely vary from theme to theme, however.
Barry
MemberHi Tyler,
Is this a custom theme / can you confirm with the theme author if a wp_head() call is in place?
Thanks!

MemberOK, I see that now. And have you tried the fix I suggested in my last post yet? It looks like it would largely fit the bill here by removing the extra padding your theme is applying to the table cells (but only for the mini calendar).
Barry
MemberHi akbradley57 – that’s odd. I’m not sure why that would be and we haven’t seen many (any that I can think of) reports of the same problem with other themes/plugins that use custom taxonomies.
Have you had a chance to reach out to the theme authors on this one?
Barry
MemberTo the best of my knowledge our plugin will not enqueue any of its scripts within the admin screens of other plugins/themes (a litmus test would be if everything works as expected in this regard when working with whichever admin screens your theme provides that also have datepickers).
If that is so it may be that the theme is enqueuing it’s scripts on all screens, regardless of whether or not it has “ownership” of them – is that a possibility here?

MemberHi Philippe, I definitely sympathize but can I ask you to create your own thread for this issue (as it is not necessarily going to have the same root cause as it does in Niki’s case). Thanks!

MemberHi viracreatv,
I’m struggling to replicate the same thing locally – so though I do appreciate that you’ve already taken the time to test this out without any other plugins and using only a default, unmodified theme can I just double check what the result of those tests were?
Unless you already tried this, could you also run through those steps again and try creating a new recurring event at the same time and see if it works under those same circumstances, when nothing else is active?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberCurrently there is no special integration of events within standard WP searches – we’d definitely be open to suggestions on what you’d like to see, here though:
