ParticipantAll new event(s) created with future dates are marked “This event has passed.” and doesn’t appear on the mini calendar.

Also after upgrading to the-events-calendar-3.0.3 and events-calendar-pro 3.0.5 – the page load is really slow – this wasn’t happening before. I do have a caching plugin but it’s still slow.August 22, 2013 at 3:19 pm #62521Barry
MemberHi Niki,
Can you confirm if this affects only events that existed prior to updating to 3.x – for instance, if you create a new event set in the future does the same problem occur?
Thanks!

ParticipantCorrect – new event set for future dates are marked “this event has passed). I was able to add events without issue before upgrade.

MemberOK – and though I see you marked down that you tried deactivating all other plugins can you confirm if you also tried switching to a default, unmodified theme? If so did that have any effect on this?

ParticipantI have the same issue here: future recurring events are marked as “This event has passed.” e.g. ourclientdomain/event/summer-special-2013-montag/2013-09-02/.
Since we’re supposed to go live within the next two weeks with this website, such an obvious and glaring bug does make me feel slightly nervous.August 27, 2013 at 4:09 pm #63163Barry
MemberHi Philippe, I definitely sympathize but can I ask you to create your own thread for this issue (as it is not necessarily going to have the same root cause as it does in Niki’s case). Thanks!

ParticipantBarry – I created a fresh install of WP 3.6, using Twenty Thirteen and calendar is working correctly even with mini calendar in sidebar. http://www.murchschool.org/test/calendar/.
I ended up removing the mini calendar from the sidebar since the look has changed and was slowing the site down a bit. I don’t know, maybe mini calendar and the theme I’m using had some sort of conflict. I think that fixed itself for now. http://www.murchschool.org/
Thanks Barry! I’m going to add my theme to my testing site and play around.

MemberThat’s probably a good call – if you hit any further walls (though it’s sounding like this might be a problem that is specific to your theme) do feel free to post a new thread, for the time being though since my impression is you’re back on track I’ll close this one.
Thanks!
