wordpress search and events order

I’m using in my website the events calendar pro
and I want to use the wordpress search.
the problem is that the results are returning without any order and I’m getting many past events.
how do you support the wordpress search?
how can I get events starting from today?
are you using any pre_get_post filter?

Currently there is no special integration of events within standard WP searches – we’d definitely be open to suggestions on what you’d like to see, here though:
