MemberJoseph – please ignore my last remark – I believe I can now replicate this and it is very much looking like a bug on our side. What I’ll do is report this as a bug for the developers to address.

MemberHi Joseph,
As a quick test could I ask you to remove the fix you added for the other bug (iCal button disappearing after navigating forwards/backwards) and then go directly to the month view for October at http://www.hobokencs.org/www/events/2013-10/ … does it work as expected under those circumstances?

MemberGreat! I’ll go ahead and close this thread, but of course if you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to create new threads as needed 🙂

MemberBy the way, your SSL cert for this website expired yesterday so I just got an error when logging in to post this reply.
Yes we’re aware of that and will hopefully have this fixed shortly – apologies for the inconvenience and any alarm it caused in the interim.
Turns out it was the Jetpack mobile add-on interfering. I fixed the problem by checking if the user is on a mobile with the function jetpackme_is_mobile().
There are a few areas where, regrettably, Jetpack interferes – but in this case it sounds like you figured out a solution (and thanks for sharing it). I’ll go ahead and close this thread.

MemberHi Dave,
That won’t work I’m afraid. Can you check out this section of the themer’s guide which explains the naming convention for custom stylesheets?
Thanks (and let me know if you need further clarification)!
September 13, 2013 at 6:29 am in reply to: My web host just installed php 5.4 and now my calendar is not fully working. #65770Barry
MemberHi thomcoby,
It should work with PHP 5.4 however you must turn off the display of errors (which is anyway recommended for live or production sites).
When errors are displayed too early or in unexpected locations they can indeed break functionality – but turning them off should resolve this (please ensure WP_DEBUG is set to false in your wp-config.php file and seek advice from your host if necessary).
I hope that helps!

MemberHi James,
Difficult to say without being able to see it – does everything work when you use the default single-event.php template?

MemberHi Adam: if you could email the team at pro (at) tri (dot) be they might be able to offer up something to help here.
Thanks!

MemberHi projectplaydate – fantastic idea and it would be worth adding to the feature suggestion page at tribe.uservoice.com – otherwise we’d have to leave something like this to you/the community to build.
It does sound like a nice fun task – I wish you luck! 🙂
September 13, 2013 at 6:10 am in reply to: Custom events list widget override no longer working #65765Barry
MemberThat’s right, there have been a few changes and that particular template no longer exists – the best place to get an overview of the changes and new structures is our updated themer’s guide:

MemberDoes this relate to the issues you described here and here?
If so would you be able to follow up in in this thread or, if it’s something different, can you outline the issue for us?
Thanks!

MemberHi accessrose, the forum doesn’t handle code very nicely and I suspect I’m missing some of what you posted. Could you please share the code a second time using Pastebin, Gist or a similar service? Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi aurelio, can you provide a little more detail? What are you using to generate these buttons?
Barry
MemberThanks barnesmusicfestival 🙂
I’m not sure why those troubleshooting steps didn’t work for you, for me just switching to the default Twenty Twelve theme restored the featured images meta box to the event editor.
This suggests your theme is adding thumbnail support only for a select number of post types. Can you check in with the theme author and see if there is a filter or other means of adding thumbnail support for the events post type (“tribe_events”) that won’t interfere with their work?
Thanks!
September 13, 2013 at 5:49 am in reply to: Cannot update existing events, and events calendar widget is not working #65759Barry
MemberI’m glad you figured it out and apologies for the delay – we do try to respond within a 24hr window, excluding non-working days, and clearly failed to do so here.
If there’s anything else we can do please just open a new thread and one of the team will be happy to help 🙂
