My web host just installed php 5.4 and now my calendar is not fully working.

The calendar won’t switch to the next month.

The calendar widget won’t switch to the next month.

I also have my admin area filled with Strict Standards code error warnings.

Is there a fix for this and when will it be available? Even if I turn off error warnings, will that fix the problem of the calendar not switching to the next month?

I looked in the forums but did not see a timeline for fixing this problem.

    Hi thomcoby,

It should work with PHP 5.4 however you must turn off the display of errors (which is anyway recommended for live or production sites).

When errors are displayed too early or in unexpected locations they can indeed break functionality – but turning them off should resolve this (please ensure WP_DEBUG is set to false in your wp-config.php file and seek advice from your host if necessary).

    I hope that helps!
