    Hello we have just purchased Events Calendar Pro 3.0.5 because we found out that we needed to renew every year. However after purchasing this renewal, we are having 2 problems. We seem to have less problems with your older version.

    1. I cannot update any existing events. The minute I select the WordPress update button my screen gets darker, freezes up and I cannot select any thing, all I can do is close out. I tried multiple browsers, deactivating all plug ins, and using the default WP theme, and nothing resolves the issue.

    2. This plug in seems to have a conflict with one of our plug ins, next gen gallery, which we have been using for years. While next gen is activated, the events calendar widget will not display the dots on each date, so you cannot click on the calendar.

    I saw that others have had problems with updating the events, and found that someone posted a temporary fix to add to the functions.php file. So now I have 2 questions:

    1. Is this the theme functions.php or the one in the root WP directory?

    2. When I look at the provided fix at https://theeventscalendar.com/recurring-events-dialog-fix/, it looks like a typo in the code? I do not know php, however the open and closing brackets look reversed and I cannot even highlight the code and copy it. When I copy the code, only half of it gets pasted… very strange.

    We have already figured this out on our own. We were told to renew our license to receive support. We have purchased the license and not received any response for 2 days. Meanwhile everyone else above us has been taken care of.

    I’m glad you figured it out and apologies for the delay – we do try to respond within a 24hr window, excluding non-working days, and clearly failed to do so here.
