Hi,
The iCal download function for our calendar doesn’t appear to be generating the correct ics file for importing into iCal.
For example, when you visit our calendar and download the file for September, you get September’s data.
Unfortunately, you still get September’s data (and only September) even when you navigate forward to October or other months.

(this staging site is at http://www.hobokencs.org/www)
Is there something that we’re doing wrong?
Thanks!
September 12, 2013 at 4:21 pm #65699BarryMemberHi Joseph – there is a current bug with iCal export in relation to recurring events, but it seems your problem is a bit different as no events from October (even those that aren’t recurring) seem to come through.
Can you try:
* Deactivating all other plugins except for those by Modern Tribe
* Ensuring all Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date
* Switch to a default, unmodified themeDoes the same behaviour still happen? Does this allow you to isolate a plugin or perhaps your theme as having some sort of impact here?
September 13, 2013 at 7:15 am #65777JosephParticipantHi Barry,
Thanks for the quick reply. I switched to Twenty Twelve and deactivated all plugins except for the calendar (3.0.5), but navigating to October to download its events still nets an ICS file containing September’s entries. BTW, due to another bug where the button to download ICS files was not appearing on the calendar page, I had followed this advice and inserted the snippet into calendar’s PHP: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/ical-download-button-appearing-only-on-first-view-and-single-view/#post-62952
September 13, 2013 at 7:28 am #65779JosephParticipantHi again,
As another test, I switched the calendar to list view and downloaded its ICS file. The list view showed events between Sept and Nov. When I looked at the ICS file, it not only contained SEPT/OCT/NOV events, but ALL future events through til June (the last event entered).September 13, 2013 at 7:43 am #65784BarryMemberHi Joseph,
As a quick test could I ask you to remove the fix you added for the other bug (iCal button disappearing after navigating forwards/backwards) and then go directly to the month view for October at http://www.hobokencs.org/www/events/2013-10/ … does it work as expected under those circumstances?
September 13, 2013 at 7:45 am #65785BarryMemberJoseph – please ignore my last remark – I believe I can now replicate this and it is very much looking like a bug on our side. What I’ll do is report this as a bug for the developers to address.
