MemberIf you have custom code in your functions.php file and it references a class or function that might temporarily be undefined (perhaps because the plugin – WooCommerce Tickets in this case – was deactivated if only momentarily) then you could indeed run into this.
Does that help at all?
Barry
MemberOK, but best I can tell it does seem to have had an effect.
Here’s what I saw when I visited the URL you just posted in your last reply – I see no sign whatsoever of text reading <p>Posted in </p> – whereas if I visit a feed URL from the non-staging site I do indeed see those bits of text reading <p>Posted in </p> throughout the feed.
I’m unsure why you would be experiencing anything different from this but I’m afraid I just can’t see the problem (at least not when you have the RSS plugin disabled).
In deactivating that RSS plugin, I would make my entire task impossible because that is what will deliver the RSS feed to the page.
OK, so I do appreciate if The Event Calendar’s own feeds are unsuitable and you need this other plugin – and also assuming for the moment that it is indeed that plugin which is causing this (it seems to me it might be) – really you’d need to take this up with the author of that plugin.
On this occasion I’m just not sure there is much more we can do for you here.

MemberEditors should indeed be able to create events, besides other things (and I can do so locally). I do note you tried deactivating all other plugins and reverting to a default theme – can you confirm what the outcome of this test was and if any of the plugins might have modified your user roles (even if you subsequently disabled it)?
Thanks!

MemberHi Mariano,
I’m afraid we can’t guide you through this level of customization – if you’re stuck and don’t have time to figure things out then realistically it may be best to consider engaging a suitably experienced developer to assist you.
Thanks for contacting us!

MemberDefinitely – take a look at our updated Themer’s Guide for an overview 🙂

MemberHi Derek,
This is what I see in your custom tribe-events.css stylesheet (lines 394-404). Note how the rules I suggested are immediately followed with further rules – one of which also targets the next event link and basically wipes out some of that work.
It actually looks like your custom tribe-events.css is based on an exact replica of one of our original stylesheets: that’s unnecessary as the very same rules have already been enqueued and sent to the browser – you need only put in your custom rules in this file 🙂
Thanks!

MemberWhich add-on are you referring to?
Barry
MemberHi Wonky,
Unfortunately we can’t help a great deal with customizations like this … especially as many people have a different opinion as to how breadcrumbs might be structured so there’s no real one-size-fits-all here.
Also, unfortunately, I’m not aware of any plugins you can add that will drop in, integrate with our plugin and Genesis and achieve the desired effect. That said, if you do hit on a solution that fits your needs definitely do feel free to share it with the community 🙂
Thanks!
Barry
MemberThat is strange.
I do see that you tried deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default, unmodified theme … can you confirm if that had any impact on this problem?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberVery odd.
Does this only happen with Canvas / your current crop of plugins? What happens if you disable those and revert to a defaultm, unmodified theme? Are you able to isolate any conflicts that way?
I do also see a cache-related header being returned, are you able to describe what caching system is currently in place?
Thanks!

MemberHi Jamie,
I’m not able to replicate this but that could be because I’m misunderstanding what you’ve described: could you distil this down to a set of step-by-step instructions so we can better try to get a handle on what is happening here?
Can you also clarify if by an event running from October 10-25 you mean a recurring event that takes place every day within that range or else a recurring event, a single instance of which spans those days?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi Kat,
As this relates to Eventbrite I’m going to move it across to the Eventbrite Tickets forum so our expert for that plugin can assist 🙂
Thanks!

MemberHi oceanfilm,
I do believe you are correct: we’ll look into this and if possible get a fix out there in one of our upcoming maintenance releases.
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi everyone: we’re working on this and hope to push out a fix – whether a snippet or patch, or by releasing a hotfix, as soon as we can. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime.
