MemberHi! Can you add this snippet to your theme’s functions.php file: does that help with this?
March 28, 2014 at 10:50 am in reply to: Add "Author" section to Screen Options for Venues and Organizers #124353Barry
MemberWe’d certainly be happy to consider this: can I ask you to post it on our feature request page at UserVoice? It would certainly be useful for us to see if others also need this, in terms of prioritizing it.
In the meantime you might be able to workaround this limitation by adding a snippet like this one to your theme’s functions.php file.
Does that help?

MemberHmm, that’s strange.
It looks like an issue with the NavSetup() function in truethemes.js (a script that is supplied by your theme) not running as expected – if I run the same code that function contains manually, for instance, the menus come back to life.
Could you touch base with the theme vendor and ask them if there is anything in truethemes.js – with particular reference to NavSetup() – that would encounter difficulties on these single event pages?
Thanks!

MemberHi!
We don’t actually deliver technical support in the pre-sales forum. Instead, please post in our PRO forum (if you have a valid license) or else in our community forums at wordpress.org. One of the team will be only too happy to help if they can.
Thanks!
March 28, 2014 at 10:29 am in reply to: events calender pro 4.5 – complete style integration, error in guestbook #124328Barry
MemberHi Chris,
Sorry to hear you are hitting problems.
since the latest update the “complete style” integration is not working anymore. in the month view if u hover over a link it looks nasty. i switched to “tribe” which is working now.
OK – Tribe Events Styles are often required for a nice “look and feel” when running the plugin without any other tweaks. I’m not sure exactly what issues you are hitting though or in what way tooltips looked nasty … perhaps you could provide some further details and examples?
since this update our guestbook (comment guestbook plugin) shows a fatal error. you can see it here: http://www.paragliding-academy.com/service/gaestebuch/
I’m not seeing a fatal error there – has this been resolved? If not and you need further assistance please post a new thread as we do try to stick to one issue per thread.
if you can´t solve it, where can i download the earlier version of the events calender and events calender pro (i think it was 3.4.1)
If you really feel the need to downgrade you can grab historic versions here and here. Please bear in mind the amount of support we can offer for sites that do not stay up-to-date tends to be limited, though.
Thanks!

MemberHi Thomas: I’m afraid I cannot replicate this issue.
Is it possible something else is conflicting? Have you tried deactivating all other plugins and reverting to a default theme (and does this problem still occur then)?
It might be that your PHP memory_limit needs to be adjusted upwards – and it could be worth talking to your host to see if there are any restrictions on this.
Does that help at all?

MemberThat’s strange, I can’t replicate the same thing with Events Calendar PRO/Twenty Fourteen. Perhaps something else is impacting? Though I appreciate you indicated that you have already tried a number of these steps, just to be sure can I ask you to confirm:
- You have updated to our latest releases
- With only The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO, a default theme like Twenty Fourteen and nothing else activated you still see this problem?
Thanks!

MemberHi: can you confirm you are using the latest releases (as these introduced some changes with regards to the recurring events implementation) and let me know if there is still a problem?

March 28, 2014 at 10:06 am in reply to: Calendar view – display month with next event not current month #124279Barry
MemberPhil’s suggestion is a great one – there’s no other built in means of doing this (though as ever we welcome any feature requests you might post).
If you are at home doing some custom development work you might look at this tutorial and see if it gives you some ideas/code you can repurpose: I would say immediately though it is in need of an update and also relates to the calendar widget rather than month view itself – but a number of the ideas it implements could certainly be abstracted out and reused.
Hope that helps – and please do post a feature request/add your support to any suitable existing requests 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi – I’m sorry to hear you’ve hit problems.
Did anything else happen on your site that coincided with this change? An update to WordPress, another plugin or your theme? Any settings changes?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi! A snippet like this one which you could add to your theme’s functions.php file shows the basic approach – does that help here?
Barry
MemberThat definitely sounds like a valid request: I’ll get it logged and though I can’t guarantee anything hopefully we’ll be able to roll it into a future update. Thanks for the suggestion!
March 28, 2014 at 9:16 am in reply to: Remove 'All Day' Option from Time Filter in Filter Bar? #124232Barry
MemberHi!
At this time we don’t have a super-clean way of facilitating this (though we hope to build additional hooks in to a future release to make this sort of work easier) however you could certainly give a snippet like this one a shot, which you might add to your theme’s functions.php file.
Does that help?
Barry
MemberI’m sorry you’re hitting difficulties here, however I’m not sure I see the same thing (locally) and I’m actually struggling to locate any recurring events on your site.
Can you confirm by linking to one directly/giving me the name of such an event – can you also confirm you do indeed mean recurring events and not simply events that span a number of days (ie, multiday events)?
Thanks!
