MemberExcellent, thanks for your patience while we worked through this and I’m glad it’s all working. I’ll go ahead and close this thread.
Barry
MemberYes: while I don’t wish to modify things unnecessarily, I do wish to be able to see the lists of plugins and themes, etc, in case anything jumps out at me (sometimes even a note of a deactivated plugin can be a useful piece of information). Sorry for any confusion!
Barry
MemberHi Beck,
To be honest I’m not entirely sure what you mean and think there might be some confusion here. Let’s take things one step at a time.
I’ve downloaded this over 10 times and still there are no zip codes in the file. Maybe i’m looking in the wrong folder were a bouts is the zip file in the down load?
So you should be able to download a .zip file for WooCommerce Tickets from our downloads page and that file normally will be named something like this:
wootickets.3.6.zipThis file doesn’t contain other zips or zip codes, however. Normally all you need to do is login to your WordPress site and upload it, via the Plugins → Add New → Upload admin screen.
Does that clarify things?
Barry
MemberI’m afraid I can’t offer any guarantees there. I’m interested that you commented on it being promised for the April release, though, can you point me to where you saw that? It may have been an oversight but I’d love to correct it if so (or update it to clarify things at least). Thanks!
Barry
MemberYes – it ought to have done. If you can remove the temporary workaround and confirm (or let us know if you still hit difficulties) that would be appreciated 🙂
Barry
MemberIt should have done – it corrected a few issues with our minified assets (such as Javascript and CSS): if you can try disabling that temporary fix (re SCRIPT_DEBUG) and confirm that would be great 🙂
Barry
MemberI see, that would explain why I can’t see this locally and nor can my colleagues. In fairness I should probably have noticed that, but even so can I ask that wherever possible you make it clear if you have made modifications to core plugin code?
Can you test without this modification/do you already know that this is the source of the problem?
Barry
MemberBecause cancelling an order (or refunding an order) doesn’t always mean the person is not attending. However, you should be able to select those entries on the attendee list and use the Delete bulk action – does that help?
Barry
MemberBoth need to be in sync: for example, if you are using/plan on updating to Community Events 3.6 you ought to use Events Calendar PRO 3.6 and The Events Calendar 3.6.
Is it possible this stems from your modifications? Are you in a position to test on an alternative installation without any such mods?
Barry
MemberOK … and would it be possible to have access to the plugin and theme settings, etc?
Barry
MemberIt’s not something Modern Tribe would typically take on (other than, of course, a future development of the plugin itself) but if you would like to email us at pro @ tri . be we’d be happy to furnish you with a list of developers you might contact 🙂
Barry
MemberThanks for those details – can you confirm the username and password I would need to use to get through the HTTP authentication (which stops me from actually logging in to WordPress itself)?
Barry
MemberHi Steve – the pre-sales forum isn’t really the best venue for obtaining technical support – but the community forums on wordpress.org (or our PRO forums here if you have purchased a license) are well worth posting on should you wish to gather feedback from others 🙂
Barry
MemberHi!
I’m just going to move this from the Shopp Tickets forum to our Events Calendar PRO forum – but the thread’s URL should remain the same and if you chose to subscribe to updates by email you should continue to receive them 🙂
We need to display ‘Page – Sidebar right’ with an exclusive sidebar ‘Events Sidebar’ – how can i get our Events Sidebar to show?
So there are a few ways you might add a specific sidebar to event pages. If you can’t do this simply by selecting an appropriate template via the Events → Settings → Display admin screen then it may be that choosing the Default Event Template and then overriding and customizing default-template.php is the way to go.
Our Themer’s Guide covers many of the basics here – but the best way of actually adding the sidebar will vary from theme to theme. In some cases you might just drop in a line of code like this:
<?php get_sidebar(); >?In others it might be something more like:
`<?php dynamic_sidebar( ‘Sidebar Name’ ); ?>
You may also need to “wrap” those statements in additional HTML in order to make the appearance of the sidebars really jive with your theme (and/or add some extra CSS).
Does that help?
Barry
MemberHi – sorry you’re experiencing difficulties.
So, just to confirm, you should be able to grab the WooCommerce Tickets plugin in .zip form from our tri.be/my-account/downloads page. I just tested that to be sure there wasn’t a problem and was able to successfully download a .zip containing the plugin – but please let me know if you are experiencing something else.
From there you can normally login to your WordPress site and navigate to Plugins → Add New → Upload and simply upload the .zip file. Does that clarify things at all?
