MemberHi Parth!
Right at this time there is no such shortcode.
You are more than welcome to propose this on UserVoice (or up-vote any suitable existing requests you might find), but for the time being you’d either need to dive into a customization or leverage something like this third party and unsupported plugin (which has an option to place your main events page on the front page of your blog).
I hope that helps π

MemberHi ite — can you provide a little more context? Where is that code running, for example – is it within a template override for the calendar widget?
Barry
MemberHi mastres,
Not quite sure I understand.
Do you mean that, once you filter events by organizer, it should take you to list view instead of keeping you on month view (if that is where you started)?

MemberHi Peter,
I’m sorry you’re hitting difficulties.
I tried creating a new recurring event, returned to it and modified the visibility and assigned a new category but could not replicate what you have described. For the avoidance of any doubt, can you detail the steps to replicate one-by-one in case I’m missing something?
I also wonder if you could run through our complete troubleshooting steps (including switching to a default theme) and let me know if the issue still occurs when you try creating new events with nothing but our plugins running. Is that possible here?
Barry
MemberThat’s an interesting question!
Unless I’m mistaken, though, it is not something that EDD itself supports “out of the box” and so you’d have to approach it as a customization task where you cover a number of areas not just in our plugin but EDD itself.
Our Themer’s Guide covers the basics of safely overriding and customizing our templates and, in this case, it is the eddtickets/tickets.php template you would be interested in (if you want customers to specify the price right in the single event ticket form).
I’m afraid though a change of this nature is beyond what we can guide you through here on the forums (though of course if you have any more specific questions relating to our plugin feel free to ask!).
Thanks again π

MemberI’m sorry you’re hitting difficulties, Vincent.
I also see you noted having ran through our standard troubleshooting steps (reverting to a default theme and deactivating all other plugins except for The Events Calendar and Community Events, in this instance) – can you confirm that didn’t highlight any conflicts that might be at work?
Can you additionally try switching to the Default Events Template and, if you have made no changes to our templates, could you remove or temporarily rename the tribe-events folder within your theme?
Let me know how you get on!

MemberHi Ezequiel!
I think you are facing a different problem since in your case only the dates are not translated.
I also tend to think it is not a problem with The Events Calendar as such: we depend on WordPress for date based translations and if I look at http://deradios.com/noticias/ I can see references to February (just as an example) where I would expect febrero or whatever the correct translation is in your case.
With that in mind, I’d recommend configuring your WordPress site to use Spanish first of all – if there is a problem with the translation that means dates aren’t being translated then, unfortunately, there isn’t too much we can do to help since it’s something that happens at WordPress level rather than plugin level π

MemberThanks Leyden,
So it looks like the report was largely put together by an automated script and at 114 pages long it clearly covers a great deal, some things relating to our plugin and some not. What I want to do first of all run through a few key points:
- Older versions of jQuery are indeed bundled with our plugin – my mistake for not realizing that initially – but at no point are they actually used or enqueued – rather they were packaged with certain vendor libraries we use and we’ll investigate removing items like this before shipping future releases
- The PayPal donation button (“insecure transition” issue) will be addressed by the above – it’s something that lives within a vendor library but is not actively used or displayed to anyone
- Right at this moment I’m inclined to think the listed CRSF issues – as they stand in relation to our plugin – are false positives (the report does in fact suggest this could be so) but if you were provided with or have found a live example we’d love to hear more details
- The verified cross site scripting issues, best I can tell, relate not to our plugin but another component of your website
So there are definitely a few things to address in terms of our vendor libraries (these are open source components created by other teams/authors that we reuse in our own plugin) but, again, I don’t believe they represent an active or significant danger to you, your site or your users.
Beyond the above are there any other specific concerns from the report that you wish to talk about or highlight?
Please don’t hesitate to let me know if so π

MemberHi perkinscenter,
Sorry to hear that you are hitting difficulties.
[Code 13] β The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive.
This suggests to me that there is a problem with your payment mode configuration.
Unless you are finding that the problem is specific to ticket products (ie, the same thing doesn’t happen if a guest tries to checkout with a “normal”/non-ticketing product) I think this is something where you’d really need to turn to WooThemes or the vendor of the payment gateway for further assistance, I’m afraid.
Would that work for you?

MemberHi Γlex,
I’m sorry you’ve been hitting difficulties.
This is my event address: https://www.eventbrite.es/e/entradas-exepmle-8754255213. As you can see, there is no β/event/β part on the url, and the last numbers doesnβt work as id.
When I test this out locally I have no difficulty whatsoever importing that event, just by pasting 8754255213 into the Eventbrite Event ID field and clicking on the “Go” button – it all works as expected and the event is imported successfully.
With that in mind, I’m unsure why you’d be hitting difficulties with this. Can you confirm your user profile contains your Eventbrite API key? What is the actual error you are seeing (if any) when you try to import?
Last but not least, it looks like you already tried running through our standard troubleshooting steps: can you confirm that didn’t highlight any plugin or theme conflicts?

MemberHi fulanoinc,
Thanks first of all for posting and sharing your concerns.
We take security very seriously indeed and if you would like to share the PDF either by uploading it to your WordPress site/Dropbox or similar and then sharing a link via private reply here in the forums, or else by emailing a copy to us at support (at) theeventscalendar dot com, that would be appreciated.
A few things that you have highlighted make me wonder if the security scan is finding issues that stem from a source other than our own plugin (we don’t actually ship a copy of jQuery with our plugins, for example – by default it uses the standard version packaged with WordPress) but if we can see the complete details we can make a more detailed assessment.
Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you π
