    Hi again Peter,

Thanks for the additional information. Returning to this problem:

Warning: sprintf(): Too few arguments in /xxxx/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/admin-views/tribe-options-display.php on line 39

I don’t see the issue here and can’t replicate it – that makes me wonder if perhaps you are using a language other than English (Danish?) and if there is a problem with the Danish translation. Though I realize you may not wish to permanently run things in English, could you try that temporarily just in case this is indeed the source of the problem?

    It’s more serious that I expected…
All credit card transactions fails after we created an reoccurring event??

The deadlock issue is certainly important – but it’s also a quite separate issue (and not one I think I’ve seen many other users reporting) – can I ask that you create a separate topic for this problem?

When you do so, please also add some details about the recurring event – when does it start and how long does it run for?

    Thanks!

Melody: this is definitely something we’ll need to spend more time puzzling over. I’ve logged a bug report and have linked it to this topic – we’ll do our best to post an update as soon as we’re ready.

So the question is: how do I test all this on a site that is not live?

There are a few options. Something like WampServer or MAMP (depending on what sort of operating system you use) will allow you to create a test site on your local computer.

You could of course also create WordPress in a subdirectory within the same hosting environment as your live site – then, if your hosting package comes complete with CPanel or something similar, installing WordPress will pretty much become a one click operation and you can test there πŸ™‚

It certainly is, Karl – and I’ve linked the bug report (on our internal system) to this forum topic so that as soon as a fix is released we can post an update – apologies for the inconvenience in the interim.

    Hi Peter,

Your system information (that you provided when you initially opened the topic) seems to be missing a lot of data – did you edit it and could you try re-posting it as a private reply? That might give us some useful insights here.

Turning everything off and only leaving woocommerce – Calendar Pro on the standard wp theme
    works fine…

Just to clarify, can you confirm that you also have The Events Calendar itself (our free, core plugin) installed and activated at this point?

    Hi Nicholas,

    That’s a strange problem.

Though it may not impact directly on this problem, I do notice that your copy of Events Calendar PRO seems to be significantly out of date (whereas The Events Calendar itself is up to date) – it could be worth addressing that.

To the specific problem with the titles, have you been able to give our standard troubleshooting steps a shot – might this be specific to your theme, for instance (and is this a custom theme you developed yourself)?

    Hi Karen,

It looks as though this has passed QA and will be delivered as part of our upcoming release (you can actually download the release candidates, if you need access now, from the downloads page).

If you prefer to wait for the substantive release of our next version, though, that shouldn’t be too far away πŸ™‚

    Does that help?

    It’s certainly makes it difficult.

Thanks for understanding, though, and if you do need further help (whether on this issue or on some other problem) please don’t hesitate to create a new forum post.

    Thanks again πŸ™‚

    Hi @websource,

The general recommended procedure for cancellations is to edit the order (via Downloads → Payment History) and change the status for the order in question (to “Cancelled”).

The matching entries in the attendee list should then also be flagged up as having been cancelled – which can be useful if someone nonetheless attends and presents their ticket at the door (as you have a record of what happened).

If you need to delete entries altogether, again you can delete the order from the screen I just referenced and delete the attendee entries from the actual attendee list (there is a “Delete” bulk action).

    Does that help?

    Hi Thomas,

Can you give me the direct URL for your main events page? For some reason I seem to be landing on what looks like a non-WordPress site and cannot navigate to the events page.

    Thanks!

    Hey Chris,

I don’t think so – at least not without some further customization work (it’s definitely possible to collect extra data during checkout and store it with each ticket/attendee entry, however it is a fairly advanced customization to make).

Alternatively you could “auto-magically” generate multiple new orders (basically, automating what you already suggested) – each order with the name of the actual individual attendee – but again this would be more involved than we could help you with.

Finally – though it’s not of any immediate help – please do note that we are working towards a ticket-meta solution to make the process of gathering addition attendee-specific data a lot easier, which may help with this once its ready πŸ™‚

    Hi Francisco,

Thanks for getting in touch – we’d love to help but I’m afraid we do not provide technical support here in pre-sales.

    Thanks!

    Hi @shenandoahu,

Do you mean the plugin provided here?

If so, please note we provide this mainly as an example of what’s possible – but further customization is really something we’d have to leave in your hands πŸ™‚

Using the TEC_VenueOrganizer_List.list.item hook though you should be able to filter each individual entry in the shortcode output and add featured images (or anything else you’d like), ie:

    https://gist.github.com/barryhughes/862203a9607edc03b081

Please note this is completely untested! It’s just a starting point to show the basic form you might use.

    Good luck!
