ParticipantHi,
Turning everything off and only leaving woocommerce – Calendar Pro on the standard wp theme
works fine…
As soon as I activate tickets… I get this error:
Warning: sprintf(): Too few arguments in /xxxx/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/admin-views/tribe-options-display.php on line 39The errors cousin shows up every time I save anything in calendar pro options:
Warning: sprintf(): Too few arguments in /xxx/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/admin-views/tribe-options-display.php on line 39
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /xxx/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/admin-views/tribe-options-display.php:39) in /xxx/xxxx/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1196
Any ideas? / Help?

MemberHi Peter,
Your system information (that you provided when you initially opened the topic) seems to be missing a lot of data – did you edit it and could you try re-posting it as a private reply? That might give us some useful insights here.
Turning everything off and only leaving woocommerce – Calendar Pro on the standard wp theme
works fine…Just to clarify, can you confirm that you also have The Events Calendar itself (our free, core plugin) installed and activated at this point?

ParticipantHi Barry,
Confirm – I do have the free version 🙂
I will post a PM with more system info – just after this

MemberHi again Peter,
Thanks for the additional information. Returning to this problem:
Warning: sprintf(): Too few arguments in /xxxx/xxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/admin-views/tribe-options-display.php on line 39
I don’t see the issue here and can’t replicate it – that makes me wonder if perhaps you are using a language other than English (Danish?) and if there is a problem with the Danish translation. Though I realize you may not wish to permanently run things in English, could you try that temporarily just in case this is indeed the source of the problem?
It’s more serious that I expected…
All credit card transactions fails after we created an reoccurring event??The deadlock issue is certainly important – but it’s also a quite separate issue (and not one I think I’ve seen many other users reporting) – can I ask that you create a separate topic for this problem?
When you do so, please also add some details about the recurring event – when does it start and how long does it run for?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Barry,
Just to be sure – You want me to try a run with UK language
Where are the settings in Tri.be products for this? Just to be sure 🙂I will create another topic with deadlock (Silly host tordenbox.dk was not helpful – vacation mode – !!)

MemberHi Peter,
Actually, there’s no need to test that – I’m pretty certain the problem is indeed with the Danish translation:
<p>Indstillingerne herunder styrer visningen af din kalender. Hvis det ser
forkert ud så prøv at skifte mellem de tre style sheet muligheder eller
vælg en sideskabelon fra dit theme.</p><p>Der vil være situationer, hvor
ingen standardskabelon er 100% perfekt. Se <a href=”%s”>vores themer’s
guide</a> for instruktion om tilpassede modifikationer. Vil du oprette en ny
visning? Snup en kopi af <a href=”%s”>The Sample Agenda View plugin fra
Github</a>Note how there are two cases of %s – there should only be one.
So, essentially, the translation is out of date and that is causing this problem. Thankfully, it seems to have been corrected in the code for our upcoming release – which should arrive shortly 🙂

ParticipantHi Barry,
Can I do anything?
Add a new da_DK.mo file?
(When I edit with PO-edit and compare to the org. I get a lot of difference even after just fixing 1 string?)??
Where is the error? in Cal pro, Cal free or Tickets?
Can I just remove the translation! – Just did – I deleted all the .mo + .po files in Cal, Cal Pro + WooTicket
No more error… 🙂
Now just waiting for update 🙂Thanks
Peter

MemberYou can certainly correct the translation and re-compile the .mo file, if you’re familiar with the process – and in fact on looking at our new translations site the string in question (which belongs to The Events Calendar itself) seems to have been corrected:
translations.theeventscalendar.com
Again, this should be rectified when our next update is released (do also note that, generally speaking and with the exception of test sites, the display of errors should be turned off – while that won’t correct the text, it should stop you from seeing errors which can themselves trigger further breakages in some cases).
