MemberYep, we’re definitely aware of that and are hoping to improve things in that regard soon. In the meantime, please continue to use services like Pastebin and Gist as you have just done.
If yes, please explain how β if not β why not?
Yes it does, it simply uses WordPress filters to allow other plugins (such as Eventbrite) to control or add to the output.

MemberHi Ray – thanks for the feedback. It’s definitely a piece of information our users need to be able to find easily – and it is actually in our New User Primer (in the first section on Installing & verifying your Eventbrite Tickets license key).
It could be we also need to find other, additional ways of communicating this to end-users and we are definitely open to suggestions.
Barry
MemberThat’s an awesome point. I’ll put that in as a feature request.

Barry
MemberGreat π and sorry for the inconvenience.
Barry
MemberWe’re definitely conscious of this problem and the disruption it has caused for so many users.
Regarding your templates, one of the settings that may have been affected and may be pertinent here is Events > Settings > Template > Events Template. Can you confirm that this is set to “Default Events Template”?
Barry
MemberHi Kelly: no it’s not – if you delete an event locally (within your WordPress installation) it should not affect the event on Eventbrite. Does that answer your question?
Barry
MemberThere is indeed. This shouldn’t be a problem if you are comfortable working with MySQL and PHP but just for the benefit of anyone else coming across this thread, please don’t try this unless you know what you are doing!
You can find the relevant entries within the WordPress options table – the option name is tribe_events_calendar_options – be aware that this particular option value contains serialized PHP, so particular care is required when editing this.

MemberHi Tim, sounds like some kind of problem is afoot. Just to clarify, if you click the Remove link does absolutely nothing happen or do you get the alert window displaying the following text:
Are you sure you wish to remove this field and its data from all events? Once you click OK this cannot be undone.
Can you also confirm which version of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO you are using? Something you could try is following our standard troubleshooting steps:
- Deactivate all other plugins except for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO
- Change your theme to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Eleven or Twenty Ten
- See if you can now remove additional fields
- If you can, reactivate everything one-by-one, testing at each stage, until you (hopefully!) uncover the conflict
It certainly is something that should work, there ought to be no need to edit the database directly.

MemberBarry, if you tell me how youβre passing the info to EB, I can pass that along to them.
We pass the state as a standard abbreviation within the region parameter (as documented here).
I paid $50 for this functionality. I expect it to be tested and functional.
I appreciate that completely, we have an issue open for this and will continue to progress it at our end. That aside, I still do recommend you pursue this independently with Eventbrite.
Barry
MemberNo problem!
Barry
MemberHi Donald! No there is not an affiliate program (that I am aware of at least) but I will pose this question to one of my esteemed colleagues and possibly get back to you with a further answer π
Barry
MemberOur reference for this one is Bug #18217.
Barry
MemberHi Petr, thanks for highlighting this.
I’m going to add this to our issue tracker and hopefully it can be addressed sometime soon. Our translation effort heavily depends on community involvement so I’d like to sincerely thank you for your feedback – and offer my apologies that it may have been missed first time round when last you emailed.
