MemberWow, that is strange.
First of all, can you login and navigate to Events > Settings > Template – try change the Default Event Template setting and see if you can clear things up that way.
Failing that, though I note you tried deactivating other plugins, can you also try switching to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Eleven or Twenty Twelve? If that solves the problem we will at least know that the issue lies with your theme and can take things from there 🙂
Thanks!

MemberHi Jason, that’s due to this rule in your theme’s stylesheet. Further down in that same stylesheet, or in your custom events.css, you could add a new rule to counter this only for the advanced events list.
Does that help? If not, please don’t hesitate to get back to me 🙂
Barry
MemberPossibly, but I’m not the right person to help with that 🙂
Can you email Leah ([email protected]) and link back to this thread? If it’s possible to help I’m sure she’ll be happy to sort this out for you.
Barry
MemberSo I think this is mostly due to your theme’s CSS. If you are comfortable making changes to your stylesheet, here is what you would be aiming for (add to the bottom of your stylesheet if you are unsure where to put it):
.dbx-content, .suf-widget { overflow: visible }If that causes problems elsewhere then we could use more specific rules, but basically the issue is that right now the overflow rules for the above CSS classes cause the tooltips to be clipped.
If you need further help please don’t hesitate to ask 🙂

MemberRoger,
Unfortunately what you are asking for isn’t directly catered for by either the core/PRO plugins or by WooTickets.
It would be possible to do what you want but would require some fairly in-depth customizations, I’m afraid. I’ll definitely log this as a feature request (unless it already has been logged) and we’ll try to look out for other users who want the same in order to get a feel for how much demand there might be out there for this sort of functionality.
I’m not sure we can offer up much more right now, but if you have further questions please do ask and I’ll try to answer them if I can.

MemberHi Grec, Jay: sorry to hear that this has been an issue for you guys – though it’s good to hear that it resolved itself (in your case, Grec).
Jay: can you try updating manually? You can grab a copy of the latest PRO version from Account Central > Downloads and upload it either through the WordPress plugin admin page (as a .zip) or via FTP (if you extract the .zip first of all).
Does that help at all here?

MemberHi Simone – Leah was just checking in since I was absent on Friday. I haven’t actually seen the email you sent, but bear with me and I’ll double check with Leah once she starts work.
Barry
MemberHi Simone, it’s sounding like this is specific to your theme (Gantry) so I would need you to send me a copy of that, please see my instructions above.
Barry
MemberI’m not sure we do have a list just yet. We’ve just gone in to beta testing though so the release shouldn’t be too far away.
Barry
MemberHi Anne – our developer Tim is looking at this now and should be in touch with you shortly 🙂
Thanks again for your patience!
Barry
MemberHi Tara: can you try adding this snippet to your theme’s functions.php file?
Barry
MemberHi Igor, so you are referring to the use of M = Monday, T = Tuesday, … in the calendar header?
If so, that is ultimately pulled from WordPress and so your WordPress translation would need to cover those items – it’s not something that is translated in The Events Calendar’s language files as days of the week are common to all plugins.
Does that make sense?
Barry
MemberHi Simone! Just checking in: unfortunately I will be out for most of today, however if you want me to check out your theme please feel free to send it across.
