MemberHi Marco, possibly if you have an extension for WooCommerce that lets you do this with products generally then you can work it into WooTickets, too.
Is there something like this that you already have your eye on? If not, you could certainly post a feature request for the team to look at ๐

MemberHi Antoine; does this happen if you use the latest stable version of WooCommerce (rather than the 1.7.0.0 beta)?

MemberHi Tara – you’re quite right, I didn’t actually have time to test it before I ran out of the door. But changing the action from plugins_loaded to init (in my snippet) ought to do the trick, though it sounds like you’re all sorted here so I’ll close the ticket ๐

MemberWell, looking at the upcoming events list we’ve got the description inside div.tribe-events-event-entry and this is floated left and has a width of 60%. We’ve also got div.tribe-events-event-list-meta and that is floated right with a width of 30%.
Using a media query similar to the one you posted, can you remove the floats and set the widths to 100% or whatever looks good to you?

MemberHi Jennifer: there is no issue with subdomains (I suspect that is simply because you supplied a URL containing a subdomain after first providing one without) but you’re quite right that it only works for one custom field.
If you want it to scan all additional fields you would need to change the snippet slightly: http://pastebin.com/g2UzzUCm
Does that help?

MemberI appreciate that: while I can’t say that 3.0 will arrive, say, next week we are hopeful of it being the next version we release. The exact timeline is flexible because we don’t know what will come up during beta testing (which is in progress), but so far so good – and thank you for your continued support and patience ๐

MemberHi Paul: sorry if that was unclear, but yes – the approach I suggested was to deactivate Events Calendar PRO, delete it, upload the latest version and reactivate. Only do this of course if automated updates are not working.
The Events Calendar itself (the core, free plugin) will also need to be at v2.0.11 for the two to work together successfully (in the OP’s scenario he had already updated the core plugin so nothing further needed to happen there).

MemberIf you are at all unsure or unfamiliar with this sort of thing, please take a back-up of your site first of all. However the approach I would take is to deactivate the existing version, delete it, then upload the latest version and reactivate.
Should it be prompt me that thereโs a new version available and it should auto update? Maybe itโs the pro version just hasnโt had time to propagate yet and it will show up in a bit.
I believe it should, especially if you have entered your license key in Events > Settings. Unfortunately for a variety of reasons it doesn’t always work out like that in every case, though.

MemberHi Cliff.
Yep we’ve got that issue logged already (our reference #19045) and I guess it was – unfortunately – missed in the 2.0.11 release. However, we are moving quickly toward the 3.0 release and this is apparently no longer a problem as of that version.
So please accept our apologies – your fix is totally valid and once again as soon as 3.0 arrives it should not be a problem.

MemberThe date format follows the same conventions as used by PHP’s date() function so the current pattern you are using Y-m-d-h:i:s probably needs to change to F j, Y – h:i a … does that help here?
Barry
MemberYou are using Community Events 1.0.4 but that needs to be 1.0.5.
Barry
MemberHmm, I can’t see the problem since you’ve got a holding page/maintenance mode plugin activated, but this isn’t the first time we’ve heard of problems with Gantry.
So far nobody has forwarded a copy to let us play with this, unfortunately. If you are able to do that though then please email me ([email protected], marking the email for my attention and containing a reference to this thread) and we’d be happy to take a look.

MemberHey Robert!
I am using the default template
Can you be a little more specific – it could for instance be set to either Default Page Template or Default Events Template. If I test things out with a Genesis theme I find the latter is a good setting and avoids the problem you have described.
Can you try that and let me know how you get on?

MemberHi James, we don’t normally keep weekend hours which is why you didn’t get a response by Sunday ๐
Any hoo, yes this is definitely possible. Are you comfortable with templating in general and also working with CSS? If so, the best thing to do is read up about theming the calendar – almost everything can be tailored just how you’d like it.
At a higher level, have you also tried adjusting the Events Template setting found in Events > Settings > Template? It may not offer a perfect solution but it’s worth exploring.
