MemberHi Craig: did you definitely purchase using the same account/email address as before?
Barry
MemberGood points Jonathan – we’ll take note and see what we can do.

MemberNo concrete decisions have been made as yet, but it’s definitely a much-requested feature so it’s not unlikely we’ll look at including it – unfortunately it’s just too early for me to suggest when that might happen.

MemberIf you are happy working within your stylesheet you could add a rule like this:
.eventsAdvancedListWidget .upcoming .event a { font-weight: bold; }Barry
MemberThanks Patti. Tara: does that help you out here?

MemberHi Jason, we always try hard to solve theme conflicts and I believe some issues have come up with Whitelight in the past – so it might be worth searching the forum for those.
I’ll do a little searching of my own and check back in later on.
Barry
MemberSo you want these events only to be visible to the author plus any users with editor/admin accounts?

MemberI’m not quite sure why, but it looks like this set of rules are being evaluated even on a desktop (by IE9 … note the float: none statements).
Curious that it is happening only on the events page – so far as I can see at least. Unfortunately I don’t work on a Windows machine and had to beg for access for a few minutes to see this; but bear with me and I’ll see if any other members of the team can assist.

MemberHi David: theoretically I guess you could, but a problem here is that even though you could add a filter to change the default events slug to, say, get-involved/events it would then be filtered once more by WordPress’s sanitize_title() function and the slash would be removed.
Even so you could probably accomplish this – but you would need to be confident in terms of working with actions and filters (to stop the forward slash from being removed) and also be aware that this would be an unsupported modification – potentially it could cause problems elsewhere that I’m unaware of.

MemberHi Gabriel: I’m guess you haven’t done anything groovy here like setting up template overrides – in which case can I ask what happened when you tried deactivating other plugins and (perhaps more importantly here) reverting to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Eleven – did that remove this problem, and if so were you able to determine which plugin/theme was causing the issue?

MemberHi Bernhard,
Sorry for the delayed response here. Unfortunately our 2.0.11 release didn’t address this and we’re going to try and look at making it happen with 3.0 (expected to be our next release).
That leaves you in the lurch to some extent, we do appreciate that, but I just wanted to say we’re sorry for the inconvenience that’s been caused here and extend an offer of a refund. If you’d like to take us up on that please email my colleague Leah (leah at tri dot be) with a copy of your purchase receipt (simply to speed the process up) and please also link back to this thread.
Of course if you’re happy to keep going with our products and can wait a little longer that’s great too – but we did want to put an offer of a refund on the table to demonstrate that we really do regret this.

MemberI can’t find any record of you having purchased WooTickets – is it possible you did this under a different email address and so perhaps inadvertently created a new account for that purchase?
If you could check your email and find the confirmation email and receipt you received when you made your purchase (of WooTickets) that should provide some sort of clue here.
Barry
MemberRight – I mean we can offer pointers but you’re really trying to do something that’s pretty specific (and isn’t something The Events Calendar was specifically designed to do, not that it is impossible or anything).
So feel free to post back if there’s anything we – or other community members – might be able to direct you on, but yeah it’s going to be a problem that you’ll predominantly have to solve by yourself.
