Text That Displays on Facebook?

Is there a way to change a setting so that the event text displays instead of what is shown here (back to events, etc) ? http://www.facebook.com/hartforddotcom/posts/311124865666154

That’s not a problem that’s specific to our plugin, as far as I know. Facebook are simply scraping content – I think but am not 100% sure that you can control this by means of various meta tags, though.

Tara, you can do that if you look into the Facebook og meta tags (og = Open Graph). In theory, I would think you can set them using event custom event fields and a little creative coding.

Tara, I wouldn’t know much about that plugin, sorry! What I was suggesting was that you use the custom field feature in that comes with the events calendar and add some custom coding to your template that would take advantage of them.
