Multisite Sub-Directory + Child Theme + Events Calendar URLs

I’ve noticed that when I use a CHILD theme with Events Calendar under WP 3.5.1 MultiSite, that I get a broken url to the “events” (cal / list) AND to the actual event as well.

Any ideas of a patch/workaround/fix to deal with this? I’m assuming it’s something to do with the childThemeUrl perhaps?

Debugging a Step further, I’ve discovered that the issue is not necessary due to a CHILD theme, but rather a conflict with the parent theme: WooThemes Whitelight.

I’m hoping this doesn’t become one of those situations where the Theme Devs. poin the finger at the plugin folks, and the Plugin folks point the finger at the theme devs. ! 🙂

Hi Jason, we always try hard to solve theme conflicts and I believe some issues have come up with Whitelight in the past – so it might be worth searching the forum for those.

I’ll do a little searching of my own and check back in later on.

Thank you for getting back to me, I do appreciate your help. I did however, late last night, find this post on WordPress.org:

As it turns out Woo recently updated Whitelight, and actually put in EventsCalendar-Specific Functions (I was reading through the comments in their files), to accommodate this conflict.
