MemberI was addressing Matt – but it could be worth taking a look at yours, too 🙂
Barry
MemberHmm. Would you be able to send a copy of your theme across? ([email protected], marking the email for my attention and including a link to this thread)

MemberGreat!
Barry
MemberOh ok … you could try adding this to your custom single.php template (check out our themer’s guide – link over on the right – if you aren’t familiar with customizing our templates or the idea of template overrides).
Note that it’s just a starting point, you may need to customize it further.
February 6, 2013 at 6:14 am in reply to: Update FROM Version 1.3 By Shane & Peter, Inc. TO Version 2.0.11 By Modern Tri #32202Barry
MemberIncremental updates are the best way to go. My understanding is that as a minimum you should update from a version of that age to 1.3.3 first of all and then to the latest version.
If you need a copy of 1.3.3 please email us (at [email protected], marking the email for my attention and including a link to this thread).
Thanks!
February 6, 2013 at 6:11 am in reply to: Can't get WP 3.5.1 Events Calendar 2.0.11 Pro and Community Events 1.0.5 to sync #32201Barry
MemberHi Lara – am I right in thinking that the automatic update is not working here (and if so, have you definitely entered your license keys in Events > Settings)?
If that’s all in order but it still isn’t working you may need to handle this either by FTP, if you are familiar with that sort of tool, or through your web hosting control panel and its file manager, if one is provided.
The idea would be to backup your site first of all then deactivate the old versions, optionally put the site into maintenance mode if you want to use one of the many plugins available for that, then delete the old plugin directories (only for the plugins you are going to replace – Pro and Community). Then, upload the new versions.
Make sure they are unpacked/unzipped once they are uploaded. Finally reactivate them (and take your site out of maintenance mode).
Does that help?
February 6, 2013 at 6:06 am in reply to: Your version of The Events Calendar is not up-to-date with one of your The Event #32200Barry
MemberHi Bob – sorry about all this confusion and disruption. Can I just get a better picture of how things are right now? If you visit your Plugin Settings page, what are the version numbers for your plugins? Ideally they would be as follows:
- The Events Calendar 2.0.11
- Events Calendar PRO 2.0.11
And, if you have them:
- Community Events 1.0.5
- Eventbrite Tickets 1.0.5
- Facebook Tickets 1.0.4
- WooTickets 1.0
Which if any are out of synch here?
February 6, 2013 at 6:03 am in reply to: Custom recurring event results in an event every day #32199Barry
MemberHi David – it would be great if you could send some screenshots, in particular of the settings for event recurrence.
Please either upload them to an image sharing service then drop the link in here, or else send them to us by email (pro@tribe, marking the email for my attention and including a link to this thread – note that we’ll continue the conversation here, that’s just a way of delivering the images).
February 6, 2013 at 5:52 am in reply to: Feature request – Automatic sending of PDF after PayPal payment #32198Barry
MemberHey Paul – thanks for your thoughts on this one, it definitely feels like there’s a lot of demand for this and I’ll take note of that.
Unfortunately we don’t have an official timescale for the next iteration, it depends on quite a few factors. Normally but not always monthly maintenance builds are released – but that doesn’t necessarily mean entirely new features will be rolled in.
It may be after the 3.0 release before we see some of the stuff that’s been mooted in recent threads here in the WooTickets forum.
Barry
MemberThe idea – and the way things are setup by default – is to allow hiding of tickets until they come on sale and this is handled through The Events Calendar’s ticket form.
If you prefer to sell through the storefront – or want to do both – you would need reimplement that logic, probably by customizing your WooCommerce templates.
February 5, 2013 at 5:13 pm in reply to: How can I remove the Eventbrite API key field from registraion/profile form? #32175Barry
MemberI’m afraid not.
The snippet works for me, but then I’m not running the same plugins as you are and am referring to the presence of the fields in the regular User Profile admin page, I’m not really sure what you’re seeing or what’s being generated for you on the frontend.
Just for the sake of clarity: with that snippet in place, if you login as a user other than one of those for whom you have made an exception, do you still see the Eventbrite fields in the regular Your Profile page?
Barry
MemberHi Julien, it’s true there’s a lot of potential to add features and improve functionality – but we are after all still on the first public release here. So, keep the ideas coming and we’ll continue to log them and assess them for upcoming versions. At this time we don’t however publish a roadmap.
Barry
MemberOK, at this point I’m inclined to close this thread – but please feel free to create a new one if necessary.
Barry
MemberNo, it should work as you described – if you don’t specify start/end dates for the ticket to be on sale then it should indeed be available from today until the event ends.
If you aren’t experiencing that perhaps there is some other problem here – did deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default, unmodified theme help at all? If not, can you provide a screenshot of your ticket settings?
Barry
MemberJulien – yes that would definitely be useful (QR codes) and it’s something that’s been discussed, so we might see this in a future version.
Alex – I’m sorry to hear that it isn’t usable for you in its current state. Please feel free to email us (my colleague Leah is the best point of contact if you need a refund – please write to [email protected] and include a link to this thread) and she will take things from there.
