ParticipantI currently have a page setup which shows an event’s start/end date. When using recurrence the start date and end date are set to the same date while the date the recurrence ends is the actual end date. I was wondering if there is a way to display the date the recurrence ends(actual end date) and possibly the start date of the first occurrence of the event.

ParticipantAlso is there a simple way just to check if an event is a recurring event?

MemberHi Kindra – I’m not quite sure I follow. Can you point me to the page you have setup (and is this something you have developed yourself, or is it a regular view generated by our plugin)?

ParticipantSorry I worded that a bit poorly. An example event on my site would be http://www.visitoshkosh.com/event/the-oshcar-awards/2013-02-05/. When setting recurrence (say the event runs every monday from Feb 6- March 6) I would set the start and end date to Feb 6th, all day event. Then set the recurrence to custom-> weekly -> and check Monday, then set the recurrence to end on March 6th. I am looking for a way to find the last day the event runs (March 6th) but using tribe_get_end_date() would give me February 6th. The idea is that I want to show the full span of the event (startDate-endDate).

MemberOh ok … you could try adding this to your custom single.php template (check out our themer’s guide – link over on the right – if you aren’t familiar with customizing our templates or the idea of template overrides).
Note that it’s just a starting point, you may need to customize it further.

ParticipantThanks! I think I should be able to customize things to the way I want them now.
