MemberHi @rariasjr,
I’m afraid it does not provide any analytics at this time.
It’s worth noting however that as a plugin that integrates well with the wider WordPress ecosystem, you should have little difficulty in running other plugins that provide SEO insights or that integrate with Google Analytics in parallel to Events Calendar PRO (if those are the sort of stats you’re interested in).
Thanks again and please let me know if you have further questions ๐

MemberHi Kulin,
Cliff flagged this topic for my attention (I head up our support efforts here at Modern Tribe) and I wanted to take a moment to reply to you personally.
You are clearly very frustrated – I understand that – but neither our team nor our other users want to see a stream of profanities and threats here in the support forums. To that end, I have marked your reply as private and I’d ask that you refrain from similar language in the future.
It sounds like you are still using one of our legacy plugins – iCal Importer – and that is of course something you are completely free to do. There are a couple of important observations I’d make about that, however:
- You do not have a new or even an expired iCal Importer license key attached to your account (did you purchase it using a different login?)
- The copy of iCal Importer in use at new.chueyfus.com is version 4.2.4 which is not the final stable release of that plugin but an earlier version (and so will contain bugs that were fixed in our final release)
The goal of the support team is to help our customers – but we can’t do that without their cooperation. You posted this exchange in our Event Aggregator forum yet, from our perspective, it is only with your last reply that it has started to become clear that you are using a legacy plugin and not even the latest version at that.
Clearly legacy import doesn’t work on purpose so you force those to buy EA. Not gonna happen.
That is simply untrue.
While we certainly recommend that you and all users of iCal Importer switch to Event Aggregator (in fact, when that service became available, we granted a free license key to everyone who already had a valid and current iCal Importer license) we have not and would not deliberately jeopardize the functionality of iCal Importer as a means of forcing people to make the transition.
When all is said and done, we’re a team of reasonably minded people who believe in doing good work and supporting our customers. That doesn’t mean the software we release is 100% free of problems – of course there are bugs and that is true of almost any sizeable software project in existence – but when those surface we do the best we can to help.
In this case, you’ve come in here seeking help for an out-of-date version of a legacy product that – based on your account details – doesn’t even seem to be something you had a valid license key for. Perhaps there’s a good explanation for that or you have multiple accounts with us or something like that, but I think you can see why the scenario would be confusing to us.
If you want to reach out to me personally to discuss this further, you can and I’ll provide you with my email address so we can have that conversation. For the time being though I am going to remove your access to the support forums as we can’t accept further posts in a similar vein to your last reply.

MemberOK, an interesting find.
I do tend to think that the PHP version itself probably isn’t to blame here, but it does sound like something unique to your live site is behind the problem.
If you want to try and seek assistance from your host that could definitely be worth a shot; it does also occur that using Duplicator or a similar tool to make an exact replicate of your live site (data, configuration, everything) on your test site could tell us if that is the case.

MemberThanks for checking that! A further test, if you don’t mind: can you visit the Settings → General admin screen and modify the time format from H:i \U\h\r to H:i (ie, no escaped characters).
Does that happen to resolve this?
Barry
MemberSo very odd.
OK, can we take a step back and review the initial troubleshooting steps? I do realize you indicated having deactivated all other plugins except for ours and appreciate you taking the time to do that. Would it be possible for you to repeat that process and additionally switch from your current theme to a default theme such as Twenty Seventeen?
Alternatively, would you be able to create a fresh WordPress installation in a subdirectory (ie example.com/test-wp) and start by installing only our plugins and see if you can replicate the problem there? Assuming you can’t, add WooCommerce and test again, and repeat until the test site has the same plugins, theme and configuration as the live site.
I know this seems like a lot of work, but this is an unusual problem and we aren’t seeing comparable reports from other users – making me think something specific to your site is behind this issue.

MemberExcellent (and thank you for sharing your solution – could definitely be useful for others out there) ๐

MemberCan you try increasing the amount of memory available to PHP?
codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
Something like define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ ); could be worth a shot in the first instance.

MemberThanks!
If you deactivate just Events Calendar PRO (but leave The Events Calendar active), does that clear up the issue? I’m keen to further isolate the source of this, so if you’re able to test this out that would be awesome.

MemberHi Sven
I’m really sorry to hear that and would love to hear more so we can figure out some sort of solution.
Unfortunately, for some reason, we weren’t able to collect your system information. Is that something you could share by private reply? I’m particularly keen to learn which versions you updated from.
I wonder also if you could enable WP_DEBUG (even if temporarily) and see if you can capture any error messages that might inform our picture of what’s going wrong.
Thanks so much!

MemberHi Linda,
Of course I’m sorry to hear that you’re disappointed and I appreciate you adding further context by copying across your exchange with the team at Beaver Builder.
I certainly wouldn’t deny that we’ve seen an uptick in the number of users who make use of page building systems. There are a number of popular offerings out there and, naturally enough, they all solve things in different ways — that can make it hard to add across-the-board support for them all.
What would be ideal here is if you could post a feature request for this (and, if you do, feel free to paste the URL back in here to help others who might be interested in the same thing to locate it):
As you’ll see, there are numerous existing requests (here is one for Site Origin Page Builder, as an example) and others in the community are able to add their support and indeed leave comments indicating any other areas besides this widget that might need to be addressed.
It’s also a great way for us to gauge demand for a given feature.
I reached out to Beaver Builder at the same time that I reached out to you and they responded 24hrs before you did. I canโt say I am impressed with the speed of your โpremiumโ support.
It did take us a little longer to respond than would be ideal and I apologize for that. Within the working week we generally we strive to answer within 24hrs of a new topic being posted and we didn’t quite achieve that here – we’ll certainly strive to do better in future.

MemberHi Linda,
Thanks for contacting us.
We’d love to be able to help out but, I’m afraid, we can’t always facilitate integration with third party plugins such as Beaver Builder.
To explain a little more: in this case we’ve designed the widget’s settings to work well within the regular WordPress widget screen which, usually, is a pretty solid assumption. In this specific scenario, however, the widget interface is being pulled into a completely different page that – if I understand correctly – isn’t technically even an admin page (the page builder is certainly accessible from the page/post editor, but the experience takes place outside of the usual admin environment).
Unfortunately that means that various bits of code needed to bring things like the filter dropdown to life are not available within the page builder and – if we force them to be available – they will not run as expected due to significant differences between the page builder screen and the normal widget admin screen.
Being pulled into the page builder may not present any problems for widgets with very simple settings, but I imagine this may not be an uncommon problem with more advanced widgets like ours. On that basis, have you reached out to the Beaver team? Perhaps they have various fixes in place that might help.

MemberHi Luke,
Sorry to hear you’ve bumped up against some difficulties.
This is actually a known issue and one we hope to resolve as quickly as we can. In the meantime, you may find this plugin useful:
«Plugin zip containing temporary workaround»
This should ensure events that are shared using UTC time in source feeds like the ones you linked to are converted to your local WordPress site’s timezone. Some notes:
- It can be uploaded via the plugin admin screen then activated as normal
- If at all possible, please visit Settings → General and select a valid geographic timezone (something like America/Chicago, for example, is preferred over a GMT offset)
- Your import settings will need to allow for existing events to be overwritten for this to take effect with any events that are already in your database
This won’t work in all cases, but it’s certainly worth a try while we wait on the release of a substantive fix. Let me know how you get on ๐
