KeymasterHi Brian,
Hmmm… I’m not aware of any issues like that with ET+.
Last week we had an error like that with Events Calendar PRO. We have already issued a hotfix for it, I see you have already installed.
I also see that you are quite back on ET+. That’s OK. In this case I would recommend updating graduallye. Manually update by major versions (4.4.3 => 4.5 => 4.6 => 4.6.2).
Let me know how that goes.

KeymasterWe don’t have a video tutorial on this yet.
I am using Norton Snap (on Android) which is available from the Google Play Store. It should be also available in the App Store of Apple. (url)
This is what I usually do:
- Open the browser and log in to the dashboard
- Open Norton Snap and scan the QR code in the ticket
- allow the app to visit the URL that comes up (the url is the result of the QR code)
- browser opens up and show the result I shared above
I haven’t tested this with the private browsing mode though.
Are you doing anything different? What is happening for you?

KeymasterThanks for chiming in here Hans-Gerd!
@Tim, is this something that might be happening with you?
this may happen if metadata has been deleted from an event. The way this can happen is if you trash/restore, or copy an event. Do you know if any of those things have been done?
Let me know, and we can dig further.

KeymasterHallo Hans-Gerd,
I just bumped into this thread and wanted to chime in quickly when I saw you are using a duplicator.
Although you are not using Event Tickets on this site, still might be worth knowing.
If you use ET / ET+ and you use a duplicator, then some data on ticket sales might be wrong on the duplicated event. There is a meta field saved for the event that tracks the total sales and that will get duplicated too. This should be zeroed.
I already proposed this change to the dev of “Duplicate TEC Event”. Hopefully he can implement it soon.

KeymasterHi Lance, welcome back.
The code I shared with you is a template override , so you will need to create that file under wp-content/themes/[your-active-theme]/tribe-events/pro/views/pro/single-venue.php.
This also means that the file will stay there even when you update the calendar plugins.
Note though, that if you are NOT using a child theme, then with the update of your theme you might lose this file.
I’m still not understanding what it is about these empty venue pages, the the “There were no results found” message, that generates these errors.
By default how our venue pages work is that if you go to a venue page, then you will see the details of the venue, plus the events that take place there.
If there are no upcoming events for that event, then you will see the message “There were no results found”. So the page itself is found because the venue exists, however there are no events for the venue, thus the message.
As for how Google understands and translates this is a mystery to us. That is something that we don’t have access to.
I hope this explains. Please do let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

KeymasterHello Matthew,
I’m really sorry to hear that you are still having issues.
Could you please give me a bit of context on the issue? What dates / times are you expecting to show up? How is the event and the recurrences set up? What are your timezone settings (WordPress and EventsCal)? Are they still the same as in the opening post?
Please note that the maintenance release does not and can not always automatically fix existing entries. These usually need to be re-saved.
Let me know and I’ll be happy to help you further.

KeymasterHi Phillipa,
Sorry about this issue. We are already investigating what could have happened.
Until this is fixed you can roll back to PRO version 4.4.23, which should work.
We will be in touch once a fix is released.
Thanks for your patience!

KeymasterHi inspiringmedia,
I do apologize for this inconvenience! We are already looking into what could have caused this.
Until this is fixed you can roll back to an earlier version of PRO.
Here is a detailed guide on how you can do that:

I’m sorry again. Please let us know if you need any further help.

KeymasterHello Ben,

KeymasterHi Katherine,
Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry about the troubles with PRO.
We have received reports that the new PRO upgrade is causing some issues and we are already investigating it. Until we fix this you can install an earlier version of Pro.
Our plugins do work well with Divi, we have several users using it. If you have any issues with Divi and TEC working together please open a ticket about it and we’ll try to help you out.

KeymasterHi Brian,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I’m really sorry about this issue. We will investigate and get back to you as soon as we can.
Just a note, Event Tickets Plus did not receive an update yesterday.
Did you mean Events Calendar PRO update? Or you just got to updating ET+ from an earlier version? Please let us know.
As a workaround until then you can try to roll back to earlier versions of the plugins.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterHi Claudia,
Thanks for getting in touch!
That is not an out-of-the-box functionality. But it should be possible with a bit of customization. While I cannot guarantee a solution, please give me some time to look into this. I’ll be in touch early next week.
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHi ypslc,
Thanks for reaching out!
Not sure what can be happening. I just tested this:
- log in to website on mobile phone as admin
- scan QR code of recently purchased ticket with the mobile
- result in this: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Aqh6lbOjUW1T5DtR8QsfVhS-MxmX
When scanning the QR code, is the page opening up in your browser (where you logged in) or in your code scanner app?
