    Hey J,

While we don’t have any official integration with Envira nor do we claim to support it, it should work with it if Envira supports custom post types. (Events, Venues and Organizers are custom post types.)

I personally do not know Envira Gallery and not sure how it is supposed to work. Might be worth reaching out to the developers of Envira and see if they can give an insight on this issue.

    Hi Tom,

I’m sorry to hear that still didn’t work out.

Here’s one last go, which I just found.

For each event with attendees there should be a line with ‘_transient_tribe_attendees’ meta_key in wp_postmeta. That also contains a whole bunch of info on the orders and attendees with ID references. Probably those are off.

Try with one event that you delete this entry from the database. (This is basically a temporary storage with an expiration, so that the attendee list loads faster.) If you delete it and load the attendee page, then it will be recreated, hopefully with the right data and your attendees should be visible.

I just tested this locally and it worked.

Of course, creating a db backup before is recommended.

    Keeping my fingers crossed.

    Hello Kim,

Thanks for using our plugins and considering an upgrade!

Events Calendar PRO doesn’t provide a grid view like you described, however it does come with a photo view that is pretty similar and has 3 columns. The number of columns cannot be changed with a setting, but it might be possible with some coding / customization.

Here is our demo page to show you how the photo view looks like: https://wpshindig.com/events/photo/

You can also create template overrides, basically create a layout that you want and use that instead of the build in ones. You could exchange the list view to the 4×2 view you described. This requires some knowledge in HTML and PHP.

You can find more information on template overrides in our Themer’s Guide – https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

And for template overrides you do not need Events Calendar Pro.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Hi mierlp,

    Thanks for your question.

can i sellect events only to our region

With Event Aggregator there is no direct way to filter for location at the moment. However something probably can be done, depending on the source of the import.

If you can give me more details on what and from where you want to import, I should be able to give you more info.

    Hi again,

I’m sorry about the importing issues. I understand how frustrating this must be.

Could you please share with me the webcal url you are trying to import? I would like to test and investigate it.

Since this issue just recently surface we didn’t have time to post it on the known issues page.

    Hi Liz,

Thanks or reaching out to us!

That type of content which you shared an image of is not generated by our plugins. It is likely “hand made”.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

in reply to: Import XML reading UTC timezone instead of Los Angeles #1505391

    Hi Scott,

Thanks for your patience so far.

A couple of devs went through the issue and we had a discussion about this. Here is the result.

    1) the calendar in question (https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/b0bkgetcceub0ijrvqcns05q3im8dagv%40import.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics) defines a timezone for the whole calendar using the X-WR-TIMEZONE attribute:

    X-WR-TIMEZONE:UTC

    That timezone is “UTC”.

    2) The calendar then defines a timezone identified with “America/Los_Angeles” in a “VTIMEZONE” block; contrary to popular belief this is not the calendar timezone but just the data about a timezone one or more event in the feed might use.

    3) Where the file does not specify that the “America/Los_Angeles” timezone should be used then the calendar-wide one, “UTC”, will be used; this applies, for example, to the “ACT Tests (on campus)” event.

The event DTSTART and DTEND attribute are not, in fact, specifying a TZID; importing this event will correctly assign it the “UTC” timezone.

    4) There are two events in the feed that do use the “America/Los_Angeles” timezone, e.g. the “REC HALL OPEN” one; preview from the 2017-08-01 date to get it.
Importing any instance of the event will correctly set the “America/Los_Angeles” timezone on them.
The event does, in fact, use it in the date specification.

All in all, it looks like that the import works correctly.

If you would like to have more info on the VTIMEZONE specification to understand what it actually is then visit https://www.kanzaki.com/docs/ical/tzid-p.html and https://www.kanzaki.com/docs/ical/vtimezone.html.

Note that we are still having discussions about the all-day events and their handlings.

Hope this gives a bit of clarity.

    Cheers,

In general, to show interest or signal attendance to an event on Facebook you will need to go to the Facebook page of the event and click there the ‘Interested’ or the ‘Going’ button. At the moment I don’t know of any other way.

    Since I created an App…

Are you referring to the Event Aggregator app that shows up in your account?

If not, then I’m not quite sure how Apps would handle that. That is beyond our control. You will need to turn to Facebook for help on that.

    Hi,

I’m so sorry about the confusion in the beginning. I did not discover until I saw your sysinfo that PRO might be deactivated. But I’m glad this solved the issue.

I can leave the thread open for now if you like. Note however that if there is no activity in the thread for 3 weeks then it will be automatically closed.

If you have a different issue that you need help with, then I would kindly like to ask you to open a new ticket. This helps us keep the help desk clean.

Unfortunately I don’t know which rating widget works well with ours. What are the issues you are experiencing? If you can give me details, then I might be able to help you with it.

    Sure thing.

I don’t know yet when we will get to fixing this. If you want to receive an update then give me a ping and I’ll check.

    Hi Heather,

I did some further tests and I found the issue. This is a bug on our side, so I will make a bugreport on this and our developers will take a look at it.

The workaround I can suggest for now is to open the ticket for editing and saving it without any changes. That will re-save the correct price value in the database.

I understand that this gives extra work, especially if you have a lot of promotions. Hopefully we will be able to fix this soon.

I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.

If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll help you out.

    Thanks and cheers,
    Andras
