ParticipantImportant an ICS file didn’t work. So then I tried importing a webcal url — received this error:
There was an error fetching the results from your import: Events could not be imported. The URL provided did not have events in the proper format. So then i imported that same webcal url into a google calendar — which worked, btw! — and then tried to import the Google Calendar, only to get THE EXACT SAME ERROR.
I’m seeing lots of posts created today around importing events. Should i be asking for my money back? Why is there no entry on the https://theeventscalendar.com/known-issues/ page for what appear to be systemic issues in aggregator?

KeymasterHi again,
I’m sorry about the importing issues. I understand how frustrating this must be.
Could you please share with me the webcal url you are trying to import? I would like to test and investigate it.
Since this issue just recently surface we didn’t have time to post it on the known issues page.
Cheers,

ParticipantThank you for your very kind and patient response. First let me establish
that the reason the google calendar wouldn’t import was my fault – I
grabbed the wrong url. Once i grabbed the correct URL, it went in correctly. Here is the webcal url that the aggregator would not consume: webcal://

KeymasterHappy to hear the google calendar import works. Awesome!
Thanks for sharing the url.
I just ran a test import and it imported 84 events to my site without issue.
webcal://prmrocks.org/?plugin=all-in-one-event-calendar&controller=ai1ec_exporter_controller&action=export_events&no_html=trueFirst I encountered some errors, but there were extra spaces in the url. Once I removed those all went well. Here’s a screenshot of the end result: https://cloudup.com/cWsZHuOcuVV
Can you please try again? If you get any error message, let me know. We’ll get this working.
Cheers,
