    Hi Matthew,

    Thanks for the ping.

    I checked the ticket. It looks like a fix has been developed and it is currently waiting for code review.

    Once that is done it will still go through testing before it is released.

    If all goes well the fix should be out with the upcoming Maintenance Release early March and I hope it will fix your issue.

    Searching is definitely a tricky thing. If you can give us more details on what you would like to achieve we might be able to give you some ideas. The more details the better.     Thanks for getting in touch with us! Awesome questions there, let me answer them for you.

    Does the community events is available in Spanish?

    Yes, it is available. The translation level of that plugin is at 91% at the moment. (There are 24 strings which still need to be translated. We’d be happy to have them, here is how you could contribute.)

    Is it customizable? I mean lets say I wan to display events in a grid not in a calendar format, can I do it?

    Yes, it is customizable. You can do template overrides if you would like to adjust or change a view, or you can add custom functions to change the behavior. You can find a bunch of these in our helpdesk in different topics of users.

    Please note that according to our support policy we are limited in providing support for customizations. We can point you in the right direction and give you some guidance but you will need to do the heavy lifting yourself.

    Can I integrate de community Events with any other WordPress theme?

    Absolutely. We try to make our plugins as compatible as possible with other themes and plugins. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that is works 100% with each and every one of the gazillion themes available, but if there is an issue we can definitely try to help fix it.

    you guys have a Demo I can fully test?

    We have a demo site under http://wpshindig.com/ where you can check the front-end functionality.

    We do not provide fully functional plugins for testing, on the other hand we do offer a 30-day no questions asked refund policy. After purchasing a license for any of our plugins you can test drive them and if within 30 days you change your mind you can ask for a refund.

    Perfect timing! ๐Ÿ™‚ I checked the status of the ticket and it looks like a fix has been developed recently. It is currently waiting to be tested thoroughly and if it passes then it will be probably released with our next Maintenance Release beginning of March. Only a little more to wait.

    On which URL does this happen?

    What is the glitch exactly?

    Hi Volker,

    Thanks for checking that and I’m sorry to hear that the update didn’t help. That’s a bit curious, so far we only heard positive replies from users with the same issue and the update helped fix it for them.

    The only thing I can think about is the WP version as the current one is 4.9.4

    Maybe you can test that on your test site as well, if you have the capacity.

    At the moment, since you said that a fresh install solved the issue, that might be the fastest was to solve the problem.

    If you want we can troubleshoot and dig further to try to resolve the issue with an update. In that case the first step would definitely be updating WordPress to the latest.

    Let me know how you’d like to proceed further.

    I have tested your feed and imported it into another TEC calendar. The results were good, the events have the ‘Rome’ timezone.

    Not quite sure why the validator gives an error on the timezone identifier (TZID). I checked it with ‘America/New_York’ and that also gives an error.

    The TZIDs are taken from the following list and according to our knowledge they are valid: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tz_database_time_zones

    What is the timezone set for the Google calendar?

    Unfortunately we don’t have any control on how Google Calendar interprets the iCal feed. I will try to get another set of eyes on this to get another perspective.

    Good question!

    The “tribe_state” in the URL contains the IDs of the venues.

    I believe how it works is that it checks all the venues which are in the province ‘Cรกdiz’ and puts their IDs of all those venues in the URL to filter. This is done like that because ‘Cรกdiz’ as a region (regions in general) does not have a separate database entry and thus an ID you could reference.

    That said, if you add more venues which are in the ‘Cรกdiz’ province, your URL will change.
