Hola:
Saludos

“I need to use short URLs that show the events with a selection made previously in the filters, to get more friendly URLs in permanent links. For example, filtering through the province of Cádiz. Is it correct to use the URL I get? I can not interpret the data that the filter throws in the url.”
Good question!
The “tribe_state” in the URL contains the IDs of the venues.
I believe how it works is that it checks all the venues which are in the province ‘Cádiz’ and puts their IDs of all those venues in the URL to filter. This is done like that because ‘Cádiz’ as a region (regions in general) does not have a separate database entry and thus an ID you could reference.
That said, if you add more venues which are in the ‘Cádiz’ province, your URL will change.
I hope that clarifies. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
Cheers,

Thanks for explaining how it works, I’m afraid that I will not be able to launch a default search.

AntonioFebruary 26, 2018 at 4:54 am #1463604AndrasKeymasterSearching is definitely a tricky thing. If you can give us more details on what you would like to achieve we might be able to give you some ideas. The more details the better. Let us know if you want to give this a try. I cannot guarantee success, but if you never try you don’t succeed, right? 🙂
