MemberHi Geralynn!
I’m sorry that didn’t work for you.
The following is a tweak to the first snippet I pointed out. It should send a copy to the event organizer email in case there is a valid one:
https://gist.github.com/vicskf/c807167bd0a89a13af7f9ad8d351d184
Please try it out and let me know if it works for you.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Shane! That is correct. Only events created by the group will be available to import.
Linda, please let us know if there is anything else I can help you with.

MemberHi Adam!
Thanks for getting in touch.
That surely is a strange issue you are having. Let me try to help you with the troubleshooting.
As a first step, please make sure you are using the latest versions of our plugins. Remember you can always get the latest versions from your downloads page >Â https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
Please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.
After that, try reproducing the issue a few times or if you can’t reproduce yourself, wait until you experience the issue, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can see if any problem from there.
Could you please send us a screenshot of one of those duplicate orders when on the edit order screen in a private reply? Make sure to include the order notes.
Are you getting duplicates for several events or just one in particular? Is it for just one ticket or different ones? Please share a link to the events you are having the issue with.
Are the duplicated tickets included in the same ticket email? For example, 3 ticket purchase sends 9 tickets in a single email?
Let us know about that.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Paul!
Thanks for getting in touch with us! Let me help you with those questions.
1) I could not reproduce this issue using the storefront theme in my own local installation. Could you please share a link to your site so we can see if we can find the problem?
2) If you want to make an event private, you can do so by changing its visibility setting. See here >Â https://cloudup.com/cyca52VBy8q
3) I can see from the screenshot that some of the texts are cut off. So please share a link to the site so I can have a closer inspection and find the conflict.
4) Could you please specify which label names you want to customize? We have an extension to Change the Labels for “Events”, “Organizers”, or “Venues” > https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/change-labels-events-venues-organizers/ Does it help with what you are trying to accomplish?
Please let us know.

MemberHi There!
I’m sorry you are experiencing that issue. Let me try to help you with this.
The ticket order statuses are all managed by WooCommerce and the Paypal IPN system.
We can definitely leave this open and see if any other members of the community have advice they can offer up.
However, I would see this as a WooCommerce issue and advise you make use of their support channels if you need further support on this one.
I’ve found the following information that can help you solve those issues >Â https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/paypal-standard/#section-20
Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

MemberHi Daniel!
Thanks for getting in touch with us! Let me help you with this topic.
If you refer to the setting that limits the number of instances to generate for never-ending/long-term recurring events, then you are right, the lowest option is 1 month.
However, you can limit the number of instances to generate by changing the series ends field on each recurring event you create.
Does it help achieve what you are looking for? Let me know if you have other questions.

MemberHi Samuel!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with this topic.
You can change the Import limit by type and range by going to your wp-admin > Events > Settings > Imports tab.
Does changing those settings help you import the events you need? Let me know about it.

MemberHi Ben!
I’m sorry you are experiencing that Fatal error. Let me help you with this issue.
The error you are getting is because that specific part of the code is not compatible with PHP version 7.1. I will log a report for this issue to be addressed in a future maintenance release of our plugins.
For the moment, switching to PHP 7.0 will clear the error. Please contact your hosting provider to request this change or if you have access to cPanel you might be able to achieve that yourself. Please let us know if it works for you.
I will link this thread to the report so we can let you know as soon as it’s fixed.
My apologies for the inconvenience and we’d appreciate your patience in the meantime.

MemberHi John!
Thanks for letting us know about it.
I’ve gone ahead and issued a refund for your orders and the funds should be back in your account within 5-10 business days.
Have a good day!

MemberHi Linda & Shane!
Thanks for chiming in Shane!
I’m sorry for the confusion here. Importing from Facebook groups is currently possible. What is not currently possible though is importing events from a private group.
If you are not able to import events from a public Facebook group, please let us know and share the group URL you are trying to import from so we can run some tests and see if we find any problem.
I apologise once again for the confusion.
Let me know if any questions.
