KeymasterHi Kat!
Can you provide a link to the page where you are having issues with the display? If I look at your homepage, everything seems to be in order. I will attach a screenshot of what I’m seeing.
If you are seeing something different, can you tell me what operating system and browser you are viewing the page on?
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Thomas!
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues importing events from Facebook. Thank you for providing such detailed information. It really helps us track things down.
Can you try changing your Event Update Authority setting to “Overwrite my event with any changes from the original source” and see if that makes a difference when re-importing the event?
Thanks,

KeymasterBrett,
Can you post your custom code for me to take a look at? It would be best if you can paste it in something like https://www.pastiebin.com/ and share the link here.
I’ll take a look and see if I can spot why it’s not working properly.
Thanks,
SkySky
KeymasterHi Thirukumary,
Were you able to accomplish what you were needing to do?

KeymasterLubo,
Thanks for checking the global time zone setting. I just wanted to make sure you had the timezone set to your local time.
Please navigate in your dashboard to Events > Settings > “General” tab. In the “Timezone Settings,” if there is a button that says “Update Timezone Settings,” please click this button. It should update and then there will be a dropdown for selecting one of two timezone modes. If there is no button, make sure “Use sitewide timezone everywhere” is selected.
Let me know how this was setup, and if changing it makes any difference.
Thanks,
SkySky
KeymasterJoseph,
Try formatting the “From:” header like so: “From: Custom Name your@custom-domain.com”
Let me know if that works.
Thanks,

KeymasterDan,
Glad that worked for you! As far as hiding everything else, your best bet would be to make a custom template and remove the parts that output those elements. You could hide it all with CSS, but that would not be the most efficient way to do it.
There is a setting to hide the “show only first” checkbox. In Events > Settings > “General” tab, uncheck the setting “Front-end recurring event instances toggle.”
If you want to create a custom template, check out our Themer’s Guide. You basically just need to copy the “list/content.php” template into your child theme and remove a few lines of code.
Thanks, and let me know if you have any other questions about it.

KeymasterJens,
Unfortunately, the shortcode does not have an attribute for that particular option, so it is an either/or for the whole site. The only thing I could suggest would be to use a view other than “list” for the second calendar.
There may be a way to develop a custom solution to do what you are wanting, but that would be beyond what I can help you with here.
I apologize that I wasn’t able to provide a better answer. Please let us know if you have any other questions or issues that we can help with.
Thanks,
SkySky

KeymasterHi Wes,
I’d be happy to look into this issue for you.
Transients are meant to be, well, transient. They are supposed to clean up after themselves after a set amount of time. That being said, you can always delete transients without fear of losing data or breaking anything.
Looking into it, I see that this has been reported by other users, and there is a ticket created for it. I will try to dig up some more information to see why it’s happening and what can be done about it.
In the meantime, you can use a plugin like Transient Cleaner to remove them.
I will report back here when I have some more information.
Thanks,
SkySky
KeymasterHi Paolo,
In the Events Calendar, the only option for importing is CSV. Using our Events Aggregator plugin you can pull in calendar feeds from other sources like Facebook, Meetup.com, Google Calendar, etc.
There is also the option of importing into WordPress using the default WordPress import tools. Check out the WordPress Codex for a list of all the types of sites this is possible with. These do use an XML based file for importing data, but this method will not import all of the related data like venues, organizers, etc.
Let us know if this answers your question, or if you have any others.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Lubo!
I’m sorry to hear that you are having issues with the ticket buttons. I will try to help figure out the problem.
Can you check your WordPress settings to see if the correct time zone is set? This will be in the WordPress admin in Settings > General, in the “Time Zone” field.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Sara,
Using our Community Events plugin, you can allow users to create events from the front-end of the site without being logged in. You can also control which roles can access the dashboard.
It is possible to have a more granular control over which roles can create/edit/manage events using a roles and capabilities plugin such as this one. For more specific information about using this with the Events Calendar, check out this knowledgebase article.
Event attendees can be viewed or downloaded, but as far as I know only from the event admin page for logged in users with access to edit that event.
Does this answer your questions? Please let me know if there’s anything you need clarification with, or if you have any other questions. Our plugins all have a 30 day return policy, so if you want to make sure they will do exactly what you need, you can purchase them to try out beforehand.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Karen!
Thanks for reaching out to us. This is unfortunately not something the Events Calendar can do out of the box. It may be possible to develop a custom solution, but this is beyond the scope of the type of customization we can help with here in the support forums.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or issues in the future.
Thanks,
SkySky
KeymasterHi Jennifer!
Our premium plugin, the Events Calendar Pro, can handle events that happen across multiple non-consecutive days.
Check out this knowledgebase article to learn more: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/
Does that look like it will handle what you are wanting to do?
Let us know if you have any other questions.
