Trying to use same widget as sidebar

I am using the events list widget on one of my sidebars with great success. I would like to use the same shortcode/widget on my homepage in a 1/3 column, but it is rendering completely differently. Here is my shortcode: [tribe_events_list limit=”3″ venue=”yes”]. All the content is there, but it has the wrong background, it is spread so far apart between events, and there seems to be content that I can’t identify (and can’t get rid of). I can fix the background and border with css, but it still appears there is content that I can’t see and can’t get rid of. Please take a look and see what you think. Thanks in advance.

Can you provide a link to the page where you are having issues with the display? If I look at your homepage, everything seems to be in order. I will attach a screenshot of what I’m seeing.

If you are seeing something different, can you tell me what operating system and browser you are viewing the page on?

It turns out the WordPress editor (WYSIWYG) adding a

<

pre> tag to my widget, which was causing the unexpected rendering. Once I removed this, it worked with no issues.
