Hey there Austin. Thanks for confirming on this; sucks to hear about the conflict, but glad to know you’ve got this sorted. If we can do anything else in the future please do just let us know. Thanks again for your support and have a great night.

Just wanted to follow-up here, Heinz, to confirm also that the ORGANIZERS panel on the Menu screen has been removed from the code, and I just tested as much to confirm this. We’ll have that released in the next maintenance build, which is coming very soon. Stay tuned on that end…and for designated frontend organizer pages sometime in the 3.0 lifecycle as well!

Cheers, and please let us know what else you need down the road.

Looks like on the DB side, you can skip the wp_users and wp_comments table if you wanted, to protect your users’ privacy. Otherwise we’d probably need the full thing.

Might be easier to start with the Settings route I’d proposed above, in light of this…

Just wanted to follow-up here, Fred…we’re a bit stretched thin this week as a member of the support staff is out on vacation, so this response will be today (rather than yesterday as previously promised). Please know we haven’t forgotten about this though.

Very odd; I’ll get Daniel – the dev – to confirm how broad a database dump he needs. Should know over the next couple hours and I’ll relay that here.

In the interim…the link you’d provided there looks to be gone, and I’m seeing a DELETED message: http://d.pr/i/SiCT. Not sure if you’re aware of that but wanted to make sure you were. Might be easier if you could give us backend access to that site? This way we can just recreate the settings you’ve configured by reviewing the admin panel. That possible?

Hey again Roberto. Just wanted to follow-up on this once more, to make sure we’ve got you sorted. Do you have any thoughts on Leah’s note, above?

Hey again Brad. Thanks for giving us some time to follow-up on this. I looked into it with our dev today, and strangely neither of us are able to recreate this at all…we can see both single posts and single events without issue, regardless of whether The Events Calendar or The Events Calendar + PRO were active.

It’s likely due to the fact that this theme has a lot of settings, and we haven’t configured ours to match yours. Would you as a result be willing to provide us with a database dump so our dev can take another look here? If so, please email that over to rob /a/ tri.be. A screenshot of your configurations for the theme might also do wonders, if you have means of snagging it…

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the note here, Mike. Jonah – who had responded in that previous thread – is out this week, but I’ve asked another member of the community team to work with you on getting this sorted tomorrow. Expect a response (and follow-ups as needed from there) come the morning, and thanks for your patience so far.

Hey Yvonne. Just confirming that we are still looking into this, and should have a substantive response for you no later than tomorrow. Thanks for your patience so far and please let us know what else we can do in the interim.

Hey Matt: thanks for the follow-up here, and apologies you haven’t gotten a response yet today. Jonah is unfortunately out this week and so the team is a bit stretched thin. However, I have passed this to another one of our devs who understands the situation and will be looking into it first thing in the morning. Expect a response from us no later than 24 hours from now and thanks again for your patience so far.

Hi Brad. Thanks for the note here, and for your follow-up via the other thread. (I’ve deleted that, however, so we can keep the discussion in one place and there aren’t duplicate threads on the forum itself).

To start, let me apologize for the oversight here. The failure to respond here was entirely on our end – we normally hit the forums enough that no thread goes without a response more than 24 hours. You sent the theme back on 10/4, though, and we never took action from there. As Jonah has been out of the office for the past week, that only compounded the delay. I would dispute your claim in the other thread that we provide “minimal help and have minimal interest in helping”, when you can see by browsing the 2000+ threads on this forum that we care greatly about helping issues get resolved for our users. But we unquestionably failed you on this issue. If you’d prefer to find another solution that is understandable and I will issue a full refund if you wish.

Otherwise, regarding the specific issue (which I’ll be taking point on should you wish to continue with us): while I should set expectations that we cannot guarantee the plugin will integrate smoothly with every theme out there, I have asked our lead developer on the plugin to see if he can identify the source of this conflict. If there is something the plugin code is doing that goes against WordPress best practices, we will certainly modify that for the next release and see if there’s any temporary relief we can provide. If he notes the theme is unconventional or goes against industry standards we’ll relay that as well (though we unfortunately probably won’t be able to do much beyond point you in the right direction if that’s the case). Either way I will have you a response here no more than 24 hours from now. I would also suggest reaching out to the theme dev – if they see something we’re doing wrong, we’ll correct it in our next monthly maintenance release, which is coming before the end of the month.

Please feel free to email me (rob /a/ tri.be) if you need anything else in the interim or want to go the refund route. Otherwise I’ll be in touch – via this thread, rather than email – once I have another update for you over the next day. Thanks again for your patience and support.

To echo Barry’s sentiments…a big thanks for this, Christina. It always makes my day to find a note such as this one, and when its the first thing I see when starting out my Tribe work for the morning – as it was today – it gives me such a positive feeling going into the day.

Thanks again for your long term support (you’ve been with us since earlier than a lot folks on here…we both recognize & appreciate that), and for taking the time to write this up. We will continue to strive towards making the plugin the best that it can be, and we couldn’t do it without feedback from folks like yourself.

As always, let us know what else we can do in the future!

Hi Roberto: thanks for the follow-up, and for confirming as much. I have received the theme and we’ll look into this over the next 24-hours. I’ll be in touch as soon as I have anything to share on this end and we can go from there. We appreciate your patience so far and please let me know what else you need in the interim.

Excellent to hear this got you where you need to be, Josh – and thanks for confirming as much. I’m going to mark Barry’s response as the correct answer and close the thread accordingly. But if you need anything else down the road, please let us know and we’ll get you what you need. Thanks for your support and use of the plugin.

Looks like, based on Lee’s last note, he’s fully set here. And since we haven’t heard back yet I’m going to assume we aren’t going to get the DB. Not a big deal! But I am closing the thread since it’s otherwise done.
