Ah alright, thanks for confirming. We haven’t tested against WPML for any of the current releases – that’s on deck for 2.1 though – so it’s very possible that certain aspects of integration there will not work. From what I understand it sounds like this is among those.

Let me see if our developer Jonah knows what tables the organizer/venue data are stored in. If he can comment, he’ll chime in directly.

Hey Aaron. Awesome to hear you got this resolved; if anything else related to the plugin comes up, let us know and we’ll do what we can to address.

Hey Scott. Thanks for confirming. Since this is a strange issue that neither Jonah nor I can identify the cause of, I’m going to need to run this up the flag to an advanced member of the dev team. No guarantees the response will be immediate (see my sticky post about limited support this week & next as to why) but this is on our radar and will be addressed shortly after the holiday if we don’t get to it by EOD tomorrow. Please keep those credentials you created for Jonah active so we can check this out on the backend as well.

Definitely – we’ll let you know if for some reason it gets bumped up to 2.0.3, which will hopefully be out next week sometime. Apologies again for the confusion…let us know if anything else comes up.

Perfect. Hopefully we can get you what you need here so you’re coming into the new year with an answer.

Hey Aaron. Alright, thanks for confirming. I’ll see if our developer Jonah has any thoughts – though in the interim it may be wise to post a comment for Tim (or at least the comments on his site to see if any raise the same issue)…since he wrote that tutorial in the first place he may be better equipped to address this particular issue.

Hey Caroline. Thanks for the note! We definitely offer non-profit organizations access to the plugin for free. Shoot me a note (rob at tri.be) and we can work out the specifics.

The license renewal price will be the same each year, yes…but non-profits are exempt from that so you should be fine if we take that route.

Generally, “One site” covers both your dev server and live site. Since you can link and unlink the license key on a whim, and since the license key isn’t even required to run the plugin anyway (it just is needed for support + updates), you could bypass plugging it on the dev site entirely and just use it on live…you’d be fine.

Hope this helps, and let me know if you have other questions. Thanks for your interest!

Hey Jesus. Sure thing. Here’s the basic gist of it: http://cl.ly/0t2o3I202i1T0g3T2l1R. If they had an FTP client and were using it to maintain their WP site, this is (generally) what the interface would look like. Note how I’m inside the plugins folder there; and I have all my plugins that I can modify as I see fit.

This ring a bell to your situation? Let me know if so!

Hey Jen. This shouldn’t be happening just because you’re on a local install, no. Are you running 2.0.2 for both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO?

Thanks for the words, Dave – and for pointing that out. This issue was initially scheduled for 2.0.2 but was pushed to 2.1 when we couldn’t figure it out in time; I forgot to update the post accordingly here. I’ve done so now and stripped that reference out.

This fix will definitely be in 2.1, which should be out sometime mid-to-late next month. Apologies for the inconvenience on this in the interim.

Hey Aaron. Sorry, but I’m not sure I understand what you’re trying to with this. You are saying you just want the address data that comes through a frontend GF submission to be translated automatically?

    Excellent! Thanks for confirming, Paul.

Julien/Caleb: let us know if you’re still having issues after giving this a go.

This is an odd issue – thanks for noting it, Paul. I haven’t heard any other users bring this up yet…I’m going to have our developer Jonah chime in directly to see if he has any thoughts. Note that since support is a bit lighter than normal this week, it may not be immediate…but we should be able to have someone take a look at this by Friday.

Regarding code…currently no way to show it in the forum, sadly, except using pastie.org or something similar. We’ll have the ability to incorporate code here soon though, so that should become a non-issue. Apologies for the inconvenience in the interim.

Hey Adam. This one is a bit outside my area of expertise, but Jonah should be able to comment. Note that support is a bit ligher than normal this week (and extremely light next), but he should be able to get you a response before this Friday regardless.

Hey Anthony. Glad to see you got most of this figured out on your own, though sorry to say I didn’t help much along the way 🙂 Let me check with the dev team regarding the solution for the Updated/Recurring issue to see if there’s something we can change on that for the next release.

Will have Jonah, our dev, take a look and comment directly re: the 1970 issue.
