Programmatically translate organiser and venue.

Hi, I\’m using gravity forms to post an event and then straight away translating it in the back end using post submission using mwm_wpml_translate_post for WPML to see it on both languages of the site.
If I use venue and organiser, how would i programmatically translate them as well? Otherwise I\’m guessing the address will only show with the one language.
Please advise. Thank you.

Hey Aaron. Sorry, but I’m not sure I understand what you’re trying to with this. You are saying you just want the address data that comes through a frontend GF submission to be translated automatically?

yes.
so gravity form pushes an event in. then i translate it in the back end and create it’s wpml translation post with the same data but in the other language.
organiser and venue are stored in different tables? if so, i’m not sure how to create a translation for that in the backend.

Ah alright, thanks for confirming. We haven’t tested against WPML for any of the current releases – that’s on deck for 2.1 though – so it’s very possible that certain aspects of integration there will not work. From what I understand it sounds like this is among those.

Let me see if our developer Jonah knows what tables the organizer/venue data are stored in. If he can comment, he’ll chime in directly.

Hi Aaron, the Venue and Organizer data is stored in the wp_postmeta table. Does that help?
