Solid suggestions, all – thanks. You’re giving us a lot to work with as we build out future releases and this is all great stuff. Keep them coming.

Sam: at this point it’s unfortunately not possible to easily unsubscribe from threads. We’re doing a round of updates to the forum these next couple weeks and the ability to unsubscribe is one that will be pushed. I can tell you from experience that I feel your pain on that front.

Hey Corey. What types of buttons, specifically? Depending on where you wanted to add this, you could accomplish it with a template override (ie adding to single.php if you wanted to modify the single event listing, etc). Does that help? Or have I misunderstood the issue here?

Hi Michael. Are you running 2.0.3 of both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO? There was an issue in 2.0.2 but that should be fixed if you’ve got the 2.0.3 builds for each.

If not, try turning on permalinks and switching to a “pretty” structure (ie /%postname%/). Does that do the trick?

Hi Ed. Thanks for upgrading to PRO, and for the note…apologies to hear that you’re having issues. Is there any chance you can drop us a link to your site, where we can see this in the flesh? I can respond and can get a dev to chime in as needed from there. Thanks in advance!

Hi Victor. I believe I followed-up with your email on this and provided an answer there, right? Just wanted to confirm.

Hi Dale-Anthony. We should be able to point you in the right direction on this, though I’m unaware of how to do so. Let’s get Jonah to chime in.

Hi Karen. Just a heads up that I’ve got Jonah looking at this now; if he can’t figure it out, we’ll run it up the flagpole here until we can get you an answer that is of some substance.

Hey Anthony. That’s weird; had you done your changes via the template override procedure (copying to a new ‘events’ folder in the template directory)? Is it possible that some changes had been made in both locations, which would render it not functional upon update?

Let me know if you’ve followed the same steps and are still seeing the issue; I can get Jonah to take a look as needed from there.

Hi there Richard. Thanks for the note. We’re working on this now, but an ETA would be hard to gauge. I do know that a user built a third-party Facebook Event plugin that, while untested on our end and not officially supported, may do what you want. Check it out: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/sync-facebook-events/.

Sorry I couldn’t offer more. For details on our official release, keep checking back or shoot me an email (rob at tri.be) this time next month and I can let you know where we are.

Hi there Stefan. Check out this article I put together on the license key issue: https://theeventscalendar.com/events-calendar-pro-license-keys-when-you-need-them-when-you-dont/. Basically you can disconnect it from the test site under “Account Central” on tri.be, and then plug in the license key on the new site from there. Let me know if you have further questions on that.

Can you elaborate a bit on the second question, and maybe provide some steps to recreate? I’m sorry, but I’m not sure I understand there.

Hi Giornale. You should be able to modify the css file by copying over events.css into an ‘events’ folder you create in your theme directory. Then modify that new, copied file (leaving the original one unchanged in the core plugin folder) and you should be set.

That help? Let me know if not.

Hi again Suzanne. While the second request (allowing the field to not be filled in) isn’t possible and may come in a future release, you should be able to workaround this by following the instructions from the thread where a user asked a similar question: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/how-to-delete-end-date-end-time/. Does that point you where you need to be?

Hi Suzanne. I can get our dev Jonah to chime in here; but what are you looking to do, exactly? Do you just want the main column to extend all the way across / overlapping the sidebar? Or something more? Let me know and we can take a look as needed from there.

Excellent to hear that did it! Thanks for confirming, Suzanne. Let me know if you need anything else or have any other questions.

Hi Corey. I thought we had a previous thread where a user asked about this and we helped them out, but I can’t seem to find it. As such I’ve asked Jonah to respond.
