Hello,
I enabled the plugin first on a test server and am now moved to a different server, but now get the message: Sorry, this key is out of installs. What can I do?
I also have that problem, that when changes of events over the year, eg weekly repeat, the event is no longer stored.
Thank you,
StefanJanuary 16, 2012 at 4:24 pm #13443RobMemberHi there Stefan. Check out this article I put together on the license key issue: https://theeventscalendar.com/events-calendar-pro-license-keys-when-you-need-them-when-you-dont/. Basically you can disconnect it from the test site under “Account Central” on tri.be, and then plug in the license key on the new site from there. Let me know if you have further questions on that.
Can you elaborate a bit on the second question, and maybe provide some steps to recreate? I’m sorry, but I’m not sure I understand there.
January 26, 2012 at 4:52 am #14171StefanParticipantHi Rob,
thanks for your answers. The second question was:
I have the problem, that I can not change an event. That always happen if I enter the option to repeat the event every week and for a period of one or more years. Thats because as soon as I make a change I can’t save this change. When I try to save the change it works and works and works. I only can abort this action.
Events without an repeat and only happens one time I can chance without a problem.
Furthermore I have the problem, that the calendar doesn’t have the right Size when I see the overview. The sidebar will be overwritten. You can see it on http://www.ev-kirche-ginsheim.de/wordpress/termine/monat
Thanks,
StefanJanuary 26, 2012 at 7:48 am #14181RobMemberHey Stefan. Thanks for confirming. It sounds like for the first problem you’ve noted here of the inability to save, you may be having the same problem as the users in this thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/updating-button-keeps-spinning-not-new-publishing-either/. Is that possible? If so, would you mind keeping the discussion going over there so everything is tracked in one place?
On the second issue: sounds like the easiest thing to do would be to try the different templating approaches from the dropdown on Settings -> The Events Calendar. Do any of those fit your needs? If not it’d probably be wise to do a template override – and I can try to guide you on that front as needed.

StefanJanuary 27, 2012 at 4:53 am #14248StefanParticipantHi Rob,
I’m sorry, but it does not work with the format for the calendar.
The setting of WordPress, as it is now, is the best.
Would be great if you still would have an idea.

StefanJanuary 27, 2012 at 8:01 am #14262RobMemberHey Stefan. Thanks for the follow-up. I’m not sure I understand the issue at this time – has it been resolved by the item you posted in another forum a few minutes back (re: the update not working), or does a problem still persist? Can you elaborate a bit if so? Apologies for the inconvenience.
February 3, 2012 at 3:04 am #14635StefanParticipantHi Rob,
first thank you, the problem is gone;)
I have another problem, but I’ll post better separately 🙂Best regards, Stefan
