MemberNot yet, Timothy – but that’s a solid suggestion and an idea we’ve been kicking around for a while (technical limitations and timetables have been the biggest obstacle thus far). That being said we’ve had a number of requests for this since 2.0 came out so I suspect we’ll be working it in eventually.

MemberHi there Catherine. Thanks for the note. We actually published a piece on how to fully customize the widgets a couple weeks back, which you can check out right here: https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-completely-customize-widgets/. That point you in the right direction? Or were you looking for something more specific? Let me know and we can keep looking into this as needed.

MemberHey Diego. What exactly are you attempting to do here? Just change the language for your site? Since the plugin already has built in Spanish language files, changing the language should be as easy as adjusting it in your WP config file.
That help? Or have I misunderstood the question entirely? Let me know and I’ll adjust my response as needed.

MemberHey Mike. Thanks for reaching out; interesting issue, and I believe this is the first time it’s crossed my plate. While this is a bit outside my area of expertise, I’ve asked our dev Jonah to take a look and see if he can offer up any solutions here this afternoon. Stay tuned.

MemberHey Paul. Thanks for reaching out, and glad to see you’ve made the upgrade to 2.0. The first thing I’d suggest: have you gone into Settings -> The Events Calendar and tried the different templating options that appear there? The plugin comes with a couple of its own, and your theme will likely have one or two as well.
If one of those doesn’t get you any closer, let me know and I can get a dev to take a look. Cheers!
Rob
MemberAwesome to hear. Thanks for confirming, Joe. If anything else comes up let me know.
Rob
MemberHey Joe. Thanks for the note; we’ve had a few users report this and have been working with them at this thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/updating-button-keeps-spinning-not-new-publishing-either/). Does that sound along the lines of your same issue? If so, would you mind posting there so we can keep the discussion in one place? Thanks in advance!

MemberHey Mike. Thanks for the note. Yes, we’re currently beta testing a CSV importer that basically allows you to map the columns from your CSV file as it’s brought into WordPress. Organizers, venues & events must all be uploaded separately and mapped independently. Check out the little article I put together offering up an overview: https://theeventscalendar.com/want-to-beta-test-our-event-importer-add-on/.
If you want to give it a go and try the plugin out (while providing some feedback along the way), shoot me an email (rob at tri.be) and I’ll send it your way.
Rob
MemberPerfect. If it doesn’t do the trick, let me know and we can provide some more guidance.

MemberHi Brian. Thanks for reaching out. We recently noticed an odd issue with Gantry that one of our devs was working with some users on at another thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/gantry-frame-work-issue/. Might that be related to what you’re seeing on your end?
Rob
MemberThanks for confirming. We just yesterday uncovered an issue where UTC time zone sites were having a problem along these lines; I’m wondering if this could be related. If you can show a screenshot of your time zone settings, I’ll set those on my end and attempt to recreate the problem (so we can get it addressed as needed). Apologies for the inconvenience in the interim.
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear (and my apologies again for the delay). If anything else arises moving forward, please do let us know and we’ll address it in as timely a fashion as possible.
Rob
MemberThanks for the thoughts, Grace – I know we’ve got an updated Search function on the list for eventually addressing, and if you post a request for it at the Feature Requests thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-feature-requests/), it’ll certainly be given more bearing as we move to outline future builds!
Rob
MemberHi Timothy. Thanks for the note here. While this isn’t how the calendar is built so I have no guarantees we’ll be able to help provide an answer here, let me see if Jonah has any suggestions.
Rob
MemberAh, excellent to hear that 2.0.3 did the trick! Thanks for confirming, Sam. If any other issues along these lines emerge in the future please let us know and we’ll look into it again.
