MemberThanks Kylie. The reference I made to UTC time — you’ll see in your second screenshot (http://www.toowoombachamber.com.au/wp-content/uploads/Time-Entries.png), even though Brisbane is selected, it still is a UTC time zone as per the text to the right there. So it seems like anything where that’s an issue will display this problem.
Are there any consistent traits you can identify between events that are showing correct versus those that are not? Can you send me a link to one of each and I can try and troubleshoot? I also have some relatively stable 2.1 beta code that may resolve this, email me (rob at tri.be) if you want to give it a go.
Rob
MemberHi Ken. This may be possible; while we can’t build this for you given the limitations of what support we can provide, I’ll see if our dev Jonah can point you in the right direction re: that tag/code you’ve mentioned. Let me see if he has any thoughts we he hits the forum today.

MemberHi Frank. For 1.3.3 the process was a bit less intensive than from 1.6.5; if you activated 2.0 after having 1.3.3 in, all of your 1.3.3 events should have been converted automatically. There shouldn’t be any need to do anything more than deactivate one and install the other.
Are you experiencing something different? If so, can you elaborate as to what?
Rob
MemberIt should be. Have you checked out our documentation at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation, to see if that points you in the right direction? Let me know if not and I can get a dev to take a look.
Rob
MemberHi Steve. Thanks for the heads up. I believe it may be possible but am not quite sure what that’d require. Let me get our dev Jonah to take a look and see if he can offer up any suggestions.
Have you tried deactivating other plugins, to see if this was a conflict? The AJAX loader should not be particularly impacted by 6 events per day but it’s definitely possible…
Rob
MemberHey Robert. This is a nice suggestion – it also shouldn’t be too hard to implement. Might I request you post it in our “Feature Requests” thread, here (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-feature-requests/) ? We’re using that to gauge what features users want to most and to plan our release cycles against, so anything that gets a vote therein will be considered as we build 2.1 and future releases.
Rob
MemberOh, so you’re saying this issue was only a problem before you customized the site? But then after customization, it worked fine? The ideal testing environment would be the default 2011 theme with no other plugins active (and no modifications to the core plugin files if possible). Any chance you can give that a go and let me know what it results in?
Rob
MemberAre you using the 2.0.3 tagged code, Brad, or something else? If you are on the 2.0.3 code…you created a new “events” folder in your theme directory and accomplished the traditional template override correctly? Just want to make sure so I can get another dev to take a look as needed.
Rob
MemberHi Bjorn. This may be possible, but it’s not doable out of the box and so may require some hackery if possible. Let me see if our dev Jonah can point you in the right direction. I’ve asked him to respond here directly.
Rob
MemberHi Pam. No problem – when I meant “the code,” I just meant the plugin itself. As it looks to be a paid plugin we aren’t in a position where we can buy it just for testing purposes. But if you were able to help us with that (and again, testing would all be local so no license violations would occur) it’d allow us to try and troubleshoot what’s up.
Let’s wait until you hear back, though, in case this is an easier fix than that.
Rob
MemberAwesome to hear Mohamed. If it doesn’t, just let us know and we’ll try to point you in the right direction again.
Rob
MemberHi Bonnie. What exactly are you trying to do? The plugin should be pretty well optimized for search engines as it stands, and we’re adjusting a few known title tag inconsistencies in the 2.1 release as well. Was there something specifically you wanted to change here or adjust for an SEO boost?
Rob
MemberHi there Mohamed. Thanks for the support, and the words. On these items:
Question #1: you’d want to do this in a tool like POEdit; you would make changes to the .po file, but upon saving those would also generate a .mo file. You need both the .po and .mo file appropriately labeled and in your lang folder within the plugin code for these changes to take effect. My guess is that you didn’t have the .mo. Let me know if that’s possible.
Question #2: if I understand your question, this thread sounds like it’ll help: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/how-do-i-edit-the-calendar-of-events-page/. Let me know if not though, and I can take another look.
Rob
MemberHi Pam. Thanks for confirming; you’re the second user today who has reported the conflict with that particular plugin. I would certainly suggest posting to their support forums as well (in case they have any suggestions), and if you’d be willing to provide us with a copy of the code, we can see if anything jumps out at us as well. (Any testing we do will be in a local environment so won’t violate the terms of your license).
Let me know if you’re interested. No guarantees that we’d be able to fix it, since it’s hard to make a plugin play nicely with anything else out there, but it’s the best I can offer at this point.
Rob
MemberHey Luke. Glad to see you’ve made some progress on this issue. I don’t believe there is any connection between venues & organizers, but I’d like to have our dev Jonah confirm that. I’ll get him to respond directly.
