MemberHey again Scott. Thanks for the follow-up. On these points:
#1. Glad to see you got this re-added.
#2. Still not quite sure I understand what you mean here. When I boot up 1.6.5 and look under the “Excerpt” field, here’s what I see: http://cl.ly/231U052f392p341S2A3f. Is what you’re referencing included in that screenshot? The Advanced Post Manager doesn’t really exist anywhere in the plugin beyond the overall admin Events list view. Check it out here: http://cl.ly/2b3o351v2E2D3w0j472j. And for that, you wouldn’t have to install the separate Advanced Post Manager plugin as the functionality should be built into Events Calendar PRO.
That help? Let me know if you have other questions here, happy to address what I can.
Rob
MemberHappy to help, Phil – glad to be of service. Does this mean you’re all set here?
Rob
MemberThanks Christopher. This does clarify; most appreciated. We have gotten a number of requests for this since 2.0 launched and are just now talking about how to best approach it. Let me see what the level of effort required here is, and whether this is something we could put together a tutorial for the community on – otherwise we’ll try and work it into a future release. I’ll let you know when I’ve heard more one way or another.
Rob
MemberThanks Leonard 🙂

MemberExcellent! Thanks for confirming, Stefan – glad to see that did the trick. Let us know what else you need down the road as you keep working with this plugin.
Rob
MemberHey Lisa, thanks for the words – and for confirming that you got this resolved with the 2.0.4 update. I wish I could say we were that fast, but in reality we’d been working on that for a while and you just happened to encounter your issue right as the update was coming 🙂
Please let me know what else you need as you keep using this plugin. Thanks for your support.
Rob
MemberHey Dylan. Are you also running The Events Calendar 2.0.4? You would need to have both The Events Calendar 2.0.4 AND Events Calendar PRO 2.0.4 running, along with any older versions deactivated, for this to function properly. Let me know if that’s the path you’ve taken but it is still giving you problems.
Rob
MemberHey AJ. Thanks for the note. My guess is that this is a conflict with either another plugin you’ve got active, or the theme itself. Are you in a position where you can test deactivating plugins (and reverting to the default 2011 theme as needed) to see if we can identify what’s conflicting?
Please also make sure & confirm that your versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO are both 2.0.4. We can try to assist from there.
Rob
MemberHi Jen. Thanks for the note here. Glad to see you got this figured out. I’m going to run it by the team and if makes sense, will integrate smoothly and is issue-free to incorporate in the code, we’ll definitely include this for a future release. Thanks for the heads up!
Rob
MemberHey Nicholas, if you’re trying to display code, it may be easiest to do so using pastie.org or a similar service, then just drop in the link so we can review from there. Apologies for the inconvenience on this end.
Rob
MemberHey Tom: since 2.0.4 for both free & PRO are out now, you should snag the official tagged release of each to test. Let us know what that yields.
Rob
MemberHey D. It’s going to be in your theme directory; in your FTP client, should be wp-content -> themes. Let me know if you still need guidance from there.

MemberAh, gotcha. Thanks for confirming. I’m not sure how possible this is or what it’d entail, but let me see if our dev Jonah has any ideas when he hits the forum next. If he does he’ll respond accordingly.
Rob
MemberHey Shane: per our email exchange, let us know what this yields. Cheers man.
Rob
MemberHey Wes. Thanks for the heads up, and sorry to hear you’re having issues. A few thoughts here:
* Can you confirm if this occurs with other template views, ie default page template?
* It is possible that there is a conflict with either another plugin or your theme that is causing this. Are you in a position where you can test deactivation and reverting to the default 2011 theme as needed to see if we can identify whether that’s the case?
* Also try re-saving your permalinks page. Sometimes that is a conflict.
* Lastly, please confirm you’re running 2.0.4 for both free and PRO.Assuming you aren’t able to resolve using the above, can you share your testing results and a link to the site so we can check this out and try to troubleshoot from there? Thanks in advance!
