ParticipantI installed Pro version of the plugin on WordPress 3.3.1. I activated my licence.
I do not get an Events Tag in the left hand of my admin panel.
I can see (and adjust events in settings). I can also add a new event using the +NEW option at the top. This publishes correctly to the page.
The issue however is that I do not have a way of editing events – as there is no way of re-accessing them through the panel.
I tried deactivating all plugins but the Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro and still get the problem.
I tried searching but couldn’t bring up anything that covered this.
Has anyone encountered this before and do they have any suggestions?
Regards
Dylan Tovey

ParticipantI have a screenshot – but couldn’t see how to add it to the post.
Thanks

MemberHey Dylan. Are you also running The Events Calendar 2.0.4? You would need to have both The Events Calendar 2.0.4 AND Events Calendar PRO 2.0.4 running, along with any older versions deactivated, for this to function properly. Let me know if that’s the path you’ve taken but it is still giving you problems.

ParticipantHi Rob,
Thanks for the response. I have 2.04 enabled for both – and no older versions installed.
Thanks

ParticipantHey Dylan, have you tried disabling other plugins to see if this helps? Often times if too many plugins are also registering menu items, some might end up being hidden… Or, are you registering any other custom post types? This can bring up the same problem.
Let me know if that helps and I’ll try to offer up some suggestions of what to do from there to avoid this conflict.

ParticipantHi Jonah – I’ve tried disabling all the other plugins without success.
We do have three other custom post types registered – so sounds like that might be the problem. What would you suggest in terms of avoiding that conflict?
Cheers
Dylan

ParticipantHey Dylan,
Try changing the menu_position argument to something other than the default. I think the default is 20, so try 21, 22, 23, etc…

ParticipantThanks Jonah. That did the trick.
Cheers
