MemberHey Michael. Have you checked out our template tag documentation ( https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation ), to see if it points you in the right direction? Let me know if not and I can get a dev to take a look.
Rob
MemberHey Allan: have you updated to 2.0.4 yet, and found that the issue persists? If not, do you want to give the 2.1 beta a shot to see if it fixes the issue? If the former doesn’t do the trick and you want to pursue the latter, shoot me an email (rob at tri.be) referencing this thread and I’ll hook it up. My apologies again for the inconvenience thus far.
Rob
MemberChristopher: we would certainly appreciate it, and have published user-provided tutorials before (ie: https://theeventscalendar.com/integrating-wordpress-categories-tags-with-your-events/). If that’s something you’d be interested in putting together we would give you a spot to publish it here after a code review on our end. Let me know if you’re game.

MemberThanks for confirming, Peter. It does sound like there is a problem on the theme side there. Does that point you in the right direction? Has your dev modified the theme at all or customized it in any way?

MemberHey Michael. In terms of forum adjustments, both should be resolved in upcoming site deployments here. If you want to share code you can either use the < code > tag, or share at pastie.org and drop the link in here. Apologies for the inconvenience on that end.
If you guys want to give the 2.1 beta code a go, I’d be happy to send that your way. It could resolve this issue and if not I’ll bring the dev team in to take a look. Email me (rob at tri.be) with a link to this thread and I’ll hook you up. If it turns out it fixes the issue we’ll merge the changes back into 2.0.5 so it’s fixed ASAP.

MemberHey Armando. It doesn’t sound like Community Events will help for either of the two things you’re noting here (filtering by country/city or displaying a map, though the latter may well come sometime in the near future as we keep working on add-ons.
For the frontend display you initially mentioned…have you checked whether template tags ( https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation ) can help accomplish what you’re going for, or at least get you headed in the right direction?
Rob
MemberSorry to hear it, Coach. Hopefully the new solution you found meets your configuration needs. If you ever decide to return to Events Calendar PRO, please do reach out and we’ll do what we can to assist.
Rob
MemberHey Ken: can you elaborate on your last note, regarding the change since the upgrade? Even better, would you mind noting it in this thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/release-the-events-calendarpro-2-0-4/), along with a screenshot if possible, so we don’t distract from the main point here? Want to get this fixed if we introduced something in 2.0.4. Thanks in advance.
Rob
MemberHey Scott. Thanks for the note. If I understand your problem correctly, this comment and the one immediately after it should show you how to hide those: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/single-event-pages-previousnext-events/#post-13785. Let me know if I’m misunderstood and I can adjust the response accordingly.
Rob
MemberHey Esteban. Happy to help here; my guess is that this is some conflict related to your theme, either due to this plugin or this plugin’s interaction with another. Are you in a position where you can test deactivation to see if either another plugin or the theme is responsible here? I can get Jonah to try and take a look from there as needed.
Rob
MemberHi Hila. Glad to see you got the translation aspect ironed out. On the featured image item: does this thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/how-to-get-article-image-to-appear-in-events-listing/) point you in the right direction? Seems to be the same issue, unless I’m misunderstanding. Let me know.
Rob
MemberHi Melanie! Thanks for your interest. The Community Events add-on will allow for this: frontend users, anonymous or logged in, can submit events that you approve/publish. It should be out in mid-March, once we can get this final wave of bugs ironed out.
Let me know if you’ve got other questions along these lines.
Rob
MemberHey Steph. Thanks for the note, and for your purchase. At this point the most complex recurrence patterns allowed are those configurable via the Custom recurrence settings (which we detail a bit more here: https://theeventscalendar.com/test-video/). This should be changing in the 2.1 lifecycle as we add random recurrence patterns, but unfortunately until then you’ll have to work within the limitations noted above.
Sorry I couldn’t offer up more here. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Rob
MemberThanks for the heads up, Armando – seems there is some interest in the route Tony suggested.
Rob
MemberHey AJ. I believe this got posted twice; I’ve responded at the other thread so let’s keep the discussion going over there. Thanks!
