Rob
MemberThat’s a good clue, Bjorn – thanks for looking into it.
Dave: can you confirm?
Rob
MemberThanks Leonard. I’ve sent this Jonah’s way (per your email) so he has what he needs, and we can keep the discussion going in the thread from there.

MemberThanks, Diego! Glad to hear it. If you need anything else here, do let me know.
Rob
MemberAwesome! Thanks for confirming, Scott. Great to hear. Let me know what else I can do.
Rob
MemberAh, gotcha. Thanks Brody. That’s a bit outside my area of expertise, so let me see if Jonah has any ideas when he hits the forums tomorrow.
Rob
MemberHey Richard. Thanks for the note here; have you checked out whether the different templating options available under Settings -> The Events Calendar help you out here? If one of those works, it’d be the easiest way to give it a go without having to jump into the code. Let me know.
Rob
MemberHey David. I’m not sure I fully understand the issue, but have you checked out if any of our documentation at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation points you in the right direction here? Let me know if not and I can get a dev to take a look.
Rob
MemberHey Hector. Interesting; glad to see you’re the type who is willing to take a stab at it. Not sure about this myself or the implications of using it, but let me see if a dev on our end can take a look and share any insights. Thanks man!
Rob
MemberHey Aaron. Thanks for the note. Not sure about this myself, but let me see if Jonah has any ideas when he hits the forum tomorrow. Stay tuned.
Rob
MemberHey Stijn. Thanks for the heads up; I’m oddly not having this problem. Just so I understand: if I set the number of events in the loop to 3, that should mean only 3 events carry over when I do the iCal import, correct? If that’s the case this isn’t occurring for me. Can you clarify that I’ve interpreted the note correctly?

MemberHey Dave: no problem man, sorry to hear you’re still having issues. Let me know about this and we’ll go when you’re ready.
Bjorn: if you’re able to identify anything else here, it’d sure help us out in this thread. Keep us in the loop…if you’d be so kind 🙂
Rob
MemberHey Brody. Thanks for reaching out. Would it be suitable to just hide the grid/list toggle buttons, or do you also not want users to be able to access via direct URL? If just the latter, that should be straightforward. Let me know and I can offer guidance as needed.
Rob
MemberHey Robert. Thanks for reaching out; your site is looking solid, and the team here will definitely appreciate having something responsive in the showcase 🙂
This goes a bit outside my area of expertise, so I’m going to see if our dev Jonah can chime in with any suggestions when he hits the forum tomorrow.
Rob
MemberAwesome! Thanks Tom, and I definitely appreciate you opening new threads so we can keep discussions tracked. I’ll hit those whenever I see them in my forum rounds.
Glad to hear this did the trick though.
Rob
MemberJohn: just wanted to give you a heads up that we talked this over at our scrum on Friday, and we’re going to proceed with updating the tutorial as discussed. We need to finish our Genesis one (which we’re wrapping up this week) but should jump into this next, once that has been finished.
Carlos: awesome to hear that did the trick. I’d be interested to hear if this solution works for other users. On the buttons, have you checked out grid.php to see if you can find what you’re looking for in there? Regarding your last question…that’s something we’ll have to look into when we play around with Thesis, but should be able to cover this when we update the tut.
Thanks again guys. Let me know about the points above and we can proceed from there.
