Venue permalink removal or change?

Hi guys,

The venue permalink and URL sets as default within the folder ‘/venue’.

Is there any way to remove this or change this permalink? I’m not keen on the term venue in my instance and would like to fully remove it, or be able to change this.

It should be in the PHP somewhere but unable to find so far.

I know you can hack this by modifying the core code but this is not a good solution because your changes will be overwritten when you update. I’m asking one of the devs if it’s possible with having to do this and will get back to you.

Hi Aaron, unfortunately this is not possible without hacking the core which we do not support. It may be a feature we will add at a later date but for now you will have to work around it.
