MemberHey Frank. Glad to hear Jonah’s help above can be of some value; let us know if you encounter any issues when attempting it.
As for the widget capabilities: while it probably won’t make the next release (since we entered code freeze today), it should be something we can include in one our next builds. We do these releases monthly and this is currently in the pile for next month.
Rob
MemberHey Rough. Not sure if Jonah saw the follow-up (our notifications have been acting up here on the forums), but I’ve passed this his way in case he didn’t. You should get a response today.
Rob
MemberThanks for sending over the theme, Marcos. That should give us what we need to look into this in greater depth and try to figure out what’s up.

MemberHey John. Thanks for the follow-up. As mentioned above, we’re going to need our dev Paul to comment on the wp_category_checklist issue. He should be taking a look at that today.
Thanks for confirming as much re: the theme. The multisite issue could be at play here; that sounds like the only difference between our setups. Do you have a non-multisite install on which you could give it a go, to see if you have the same experience I do?
Rob
MemberThanks for the follow-up, Bob. Glad to hear that did the trick. Note that you can also click the “Trash” link within a given entry (http://d.pr/i/7XZ7) to achieve the same effect. Not sure what it’d take to add a trash button to the frontend for editors but I could see the value in that too.
Thanks again for the feedback and please let me know if we can do anything else here.

MemberHey Frank. Thanks for the note here; we do have this logged as an issue to address, but haven’t actually deployed a fix yet. As you’re the second person to raise the issue in a 24 hour span I have bumped up the priority on our ticket here. While we just had a code freeze today on the 2.0.7 build that will be out the first week of June, we’re on a monthly release cycle for this plugin and the change should be included in our July build now (which will be out at the start of July). Thanks for your patience on this so far.

MemberJonah, what’d it take to incorporate Andy’s last suggestion there?
Rob
MemberYou should be able to, Meg, yes. Let me see what our dev Jonah would suggest specifically when he hits the forums later this morning. I’ve asked him to take a look and respond directly with any guidance he can offer. Stay tuned and thanks for your patience so far.

MemberSounds good Chip. Give it a go and if you are still having issues, definitely let us know and we’ll try our best to troubleshoot from there.

MemberHey there Rick. The best spot for demoing PRO would probably be the demo site, which is pretty bare bones but does have the plugin (and a couple add-ons) active. That’s at http://demo.tri.be. If you wanted to see the plugin in the wild on a more “real” level, we have this showcase thread from the forums here that is all sites running PRO: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/showcase-2-0/. Let me know if you were looking for something more than that.
EastMagQ: interesting idea. What do you mean “on the Google map view”? The frontend venue pages?
Rob
MemberHey Davide: thanks for the follow-up. What aspect were you unsure on? Happy to clarify as best I can. Basically, we are working on this now and hope to have it in our June 4 release. If it doesn’t make the cut it will need to be pushed to the following release, which will be out around the same time the following month (start of July).
Thanks again for your interest and please let me know what else I can do.
Rob
MemberHey Joel: believe I just responded to your email on this a few moments ago 🙂 Let’s continue the discussion over there. Cheers!
Rob
MemberHey there Nicole. Thanks for the note here. Yes, the RSS feeds in the current release are intentionally pretty bare bones…when we developed the plugin there was very little demand from the community for full detailed RSS feeds, but now that 2.0 has launched and we’ve seen a wave of new customers over the past 6 months this has become a pretty frequently requested feature.
While I don’t have a specific timetable, know that this is on our radar as something we’re working to address and we’ll hopefully have more substantive RSS feeds sometime soon. My apologies for the inconvenience in the interim though. Please let me know if you have any other thoughts on this or if we can do anything else.
Rob
MemberThanks Barbara. I’ve brought this up to the team; sounds like there is some value in it, and I’ll wait to see what our lead dev Paul has to say as to the implications/timetable/etc. We appreciate the feedback and will see what we can do for a future release. Let us know if anything else comes to mind!
Rob
MemberHey Montana: thanks for the heads up on the HTML issue. Would you do me a favor and paste that into a pastie.org link, so I can use it in testing myself and have the dev do the same? That’d help us reach a resolution for this quickest, I think.
Re: the events repeating each other. That does look like a legitimate bug and I’d like to help try and get it resolved; but would you mind opening that in a new thread so it’s tracked as a separate issue that I can bring a dev into from there? Thanks in advance!
