MemberHey Geoff. Thanks for the follow-up, and for confirming as much. This is an interesting issue: so if I understand correctly, the featured image that has been set by the theme for the header is being set across the board as a featured image for your other content as well…am I correct there? If so, does this happen for regular posts and pages as well?
If you can confirm that, I can try to get Jonah from our dev team to see what’s up and whether we can point you in the right direction. Thanks for your patience so far.

MemberHi there Sandie. Thanks for the follow-up, and for your feedback. I can understand your frustration and apologize on behalf of the team for the inconvenience. It’s worth noting that the current Community release is 1.0, which means it’s the very first build…so there are bound to be issues and quirks that we didn’t catch in QA, which we’re relying on users to identify and bring to our attention so we can resolve them. We do monthly maintenance releases of each plugin that come the first week of the month; our 1.0.1 release for community is thus locked down and ready to ship next week. While this fix is currently slated for the following release (1.0.2, coming the first week of July) Jonah’s solution should work in the short-term for users who need a workaround. If you can clarify which aspect of the workaround doesn’t make sense we can do what we can to work through it with you.
I’m not sure if I understand the question about mapping the plugin pages…can you elaborate on this? Thanks again for your patience and support so far. Let me know about the above and I’ll do what I can to help.

MemberHey again Jaeden. Just wanted to follow-up on my email; I’ve got a dev checking this out now but the backend credentials didn’t seem to work. Can you double check on those for me?
Rob
MemberThanks for the follow-up, William. If you check out our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/moderntribeinc) there are some wireframes or screenshots that may be of some value. Hopefully that’d help – feel free to post any comments on the items that you may have and we’ll answer them over there.
If you needed something more in-depth or on a shorter timetable it might be better to look for another solution. But if I can offer anything else let me know. Thanks again for your interest.

MemberHey Jesse. I’m not sure how possible this is, but Jonah would have a better idea than I. Let me see what he says when he hits the forum next.
Rob
MemberThanks Sheila. I am seeing both of these issues and it does look like something’s up here. Not sure about either of these but I’ve asked Jonah to take a look and hopefully he can shed some light on either/both of them when he hits the forums next, either later this evening or tomorrow morning. Stay tuned and thanks for your patience so far.

MemberHey there Nicole. Thanks for reaching out, and for your purchase of the Events Calendar PRO plugin. At this point the recurrence options do not account for endless recurrence patterns – since it needs to create a separate entry for each instance of the recurrence, WordPress would not be able to handle the attempt.
We have had a few requests for such functionality, though, so I suspect it’ll be added to the code at some point if we can make it work. Might be wise to add a note in the “Feature Requests” thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-feature-requests/), as that’s what we’re using to help determine the order of feature additions down the road.
Sorry I couldn’t offer up more here in the short-term. Please let me know if I can do anything else or if you have any other questions on this.

MemberHey John: it’s definitely possible. Would you be interested in giving the pre-release code Paul mentions a go, to see if it resolves this issue? We’ll be releasing that next week if so…which means relief would be near.
If you’re interested shoot an email to pro /a/ tri.be and I’ll give it to you. We can dig deeper based on the feedback in your last message if Paul’s tweaks don’t fix things.

MemberHi there Torey. Thanks for the heads up here. While we cannot guarantee the plugin will integrate with everything else out there, we try to clear up conflicts if it’s clearly an issue on our end. I’m not seeing this plugin anywhere online, though. Would you mind sending a copy of it to pro /a/ tri.be so we can test against it? No guarantees of a resolution of solution in the short-term but we can add it to the list of plugins we’re working to check conflicts with.
Thanks in advance!
Rob
MemberNice! Thanks for confirming, Ben.

MemberHi Matthew. Thanks for your interest in the add-on. At this point the events each need to be imported independently; however as this is just the 1.0 release and we’re doing monthly releases of the plugin we hope to include batch import pretty soon (as we realize there is demand for it).
By “an event with multiple dates/times”, do you just mean a recurring event or something more? At this point Eventbrite’s API sadly does not allow for recurring events.
Hope that helps. Let me know if you’ve got any other questions here, and thanks again for your interest.

MemberClear as mud on my end, Ross – thanks. Let me see what Jonah has to say based on this new information when he hits the forums today. Stay tuned!

MemberHey Geoff. Thanks for the note here, and for the link – I am seeing your issue but am unsure how you reached that. Which is the featured image: the person by the creek, or the rolling hills? It seems the person by the creek has been added as the primary header image for the site, but is also getting pulled into the entry. Are you adding the image in two locations, or is it automatically setting the header for the site as well?
Let me know so I can bett understand this and try to get it resolved. Thanks for your patience so far.
Rob
MemberHey Meg. Should be able to get Jonah to take a look at this today.
Going forward, since the forums here have trouble displaying code…you may want to drop it into a pastie.org (or similar service) and share the link from there. We’ll hopefully be adding more meaningful code support here in the forums shortly.
Rob
MemberHey Robert. Thanks for the note here, and for your interest in using the plugin on your sites. We appreciate the vote of confidence 🙂
How are you configuring these sites – is this a multisite network, or just a network linked by a blogroll or something similar?
