I keep getting “Please check the box below to prove you are not an evil spammer.” I keep checking the box and it still shows up. I have tried using different browsers and still the same problem.

Hey Jaeden. Thanks for the note here; I responded to your email as well, but I’ll take a look at this for you. Can you turn off the feature requiring users be logged in to post, though? When I click that link I’m prompted to log in and this needs to be tested as an anonymous user. Thanks in advance!

Just turned it off so you can test it. Thanks for the quick responses too!

Thanks Jaeden. I am seeing this in action; very bizarre, as I haven’t experienced this at all (or heard other users reporting it) so far. Any chance you’d be willing to give us an admin account so we can take a look? Won’t change anything…just want to checkout the backend and your set up to see if we can identify any potential conflicts.

If so, please send the creds to pro /a/ tri.be, with a link to this thread, and we’ll jump into it. Apologies for the inconvenience in the interim.

Hey again Jaeden. Just wanted to follow-up on my email; I’ve got a dev checking this out now but the backend credentials didn’t seem to work. Can you double check on those for me?

Hi again Jaeden. If this issue does persist, I’ve gotten our dev to offer up some insights: it would appear you have some plugin (or something) that is changing the styling of the Not-a-spammer checkbox (replacing it, in fact); if you look at the HTML (http://f.paulhugh.es/HJXw), note that the checkbox is offset to the left by 10000 pixels. Apparently, it would seem, the js is not properly submitting a checked checkbox now (it isn’t getting sent as part of the POST request—we checked).

From what we can tell, this is almost definitely the problem. Can you give it a look and let us know?

Hey Jaeden. Just wanted to follow-up on this; any thoughts on my last note and whether that might add some value / help resolve the issue here?
